Two-tier pricing is common in China. Part of what makes Japan superior has been rising above this kind of nonsense.

The foreign nationals should be deported after punishment if found guilty. Good riddance.

Posted in: Blinken returns to Mideast as Israel-Hamas cease-fire proposal hangs in balance after hostage rescue See in context

No ceasefire until all hostages are accounted for. Every casualty, Israeli and Palestinian is on Hamas. Hamas could have surrendered months ago.

Posted in: Israeli strike kills at least 33 people at Gaza school the military claims was being used by Hamas See in context

Hamas is well known to hide themselves and munitions within hospitals, residential areas and schools. They don’t care about civilian casualties. Hamas are cowards who need to be obliterated.

Posted in: Nagasaki holds off inviting Israel to peace ceremony See in context

Israel needs to destroy Hamas. This invitation is trivial. However, it is a shame that Nagasaki has invited the aggressors who largely support terrorism.

Richard Dreyfus’s needs to head to Cannes to talk some sense into this gong show.

Dreyfuss said correctly what a lot of people are too afraid to say nowadays.

Mistakes have been made by Israel, but all Hamas terrorists need to be destroyed. Israel does more to protect Palestinians than Hamas does.

Precisely.

I was rooting for Rory, but glad to see Smith win. Glad to see any non-LIV member win a major.

Posted in: Record 15,000 people taken to hospital in June due to heat See in context

Heat stroke is way more of a threat than covid. Covid gets all the unnecessary panic, heat stroke just gets a shoganai.

Posted in: Shanghai reports zero COVID cases for first time since March See in context

I don't believe any Covid numbers coming from the CCP. I do believe Shanghai can be locked down again in an instant at the governments whim.

Vaccines saving lives is very good indeed. People being mandated to take vaccines is very bad.

It will always be known as Monkeypox to me, just as the original SARS‑CoV‑2 strain will always be the Wuhan virus.

When China urges a country not to meddle in something, that country should definitely meddle.

Remember when oil crashed a few years ago and basically went to zero? Now look at oil prices. This Bitcoin crash will recover and go to new highs. It’s just a matter of time, likely years away.

Safe, legal and rare was the best policy. Now the right wants to ban all abortion and the left wants abortion even during viability. I can’t support either side.

The movie should not be banned. Parents should decide if their children watch it. Of course, if parents decide against it they will likely be called bigots.

Posted in: UAE bans Disney-Pixar film over same-sex relationship characters See in context

You guys do realize that you're very much in the minority finding anything offensive about these relationships in 2022

There is a huge difference between people finding "these relationships" offensive versus the pushing of increasingly woke content on children. Most adults like myself accept and support that people can live their lives as they please. But when it come to my young children, I am very careful about the content they are allowed to watch.

Posted in: UAE bans Disney-Pixar film over same-sex relationship characters See in context

Disney has the right to make whatever content they want. Counties have the right to ban. But if Disney continues down this woke path, it’s just a matter of time before the average viewer will tune out Disney. I already have.
