This helps the Russian Federation. Trump is helping build a Russian presence by backing out American support there.

This also helps by limiting our ability to intervene in Ukraine. botched is a misnomer.

Posted in: Are China's cars finally going to make inroads in Western markets? See in context

i am certain they can build good quality stuff. But that is expensive and not how China has gotten where it is. As a consumer what I have seen is a good quality product that over time degrades with each successive generation. Having said that the dollars are only gong to get harder to come by so a cheap dangerous alternative to expensive and safe vehicles will grow more popular for the majority of buyers. Trump is promising fewer regulations so this is likely the future for Americans. He will do this to pocket some dollars from China cause he is addicted to money. Eventually the tables will turn and China will make lovely safe vehicles for the home market and dangerous cheap cars for export much as everyone else does because money and dominion. ..

Posted in: Automakers report mixed sales in U.S. for November See in context

During the worst of the Great Recession car sales tanked. Brand labels were lost, people held onto vehicles twice as long as ever before. In the start the President of the US crushed millions of polluting and obsolete cars.

Just as CiriBank said by 2014 the world economy and especially the US economy had recovered. For three years people have been replacing old cars from the Great Recession era and of course population growth. Younger people are again buying vehicles but my hope is people will go back to single vehicle families. Or maybe one electric car and a handful of bikes.

Posted in: China maintains reign over world supercomputer rankings: survey See in context

It has been my understanding that the tech that has been stolen has not worked for the Chinese. They have struggled to purchase the companies that have the technical know how to make the tech work.

Instead they have cobbled together video processors GPU into massive parallel arrays that do indeed work as super computers but since this is a new things they are still working on making these practical. Its still more effective for them to steal thru espionage than develop their own working design.

All that being said people familiar with the super computers see these massive parallel GPUs as a step toward a working design that will eventually pay off.

At the moment they are probably mostly used for cyber warfare and espionage. A waste but vitally necessary in a world diligently working toward a state of war.

Could it be on purpose. Did the Chinese ask these captains of the container ships to ram the cruisers in an effort to limit the American presence of the South China Sea? Just spit balling here. It does seem like an unusual coincidence. Both the Philippines and Liberia are motivated partners working new trade agreements with China.

North Korea only has maybe 5 warheads. They know exactly how many ICBMs they could launch before retaliation.

America knows there isn't a 100% effective way to shutdown collateral civilian casualaties mostly in Asia specifically South Korea but also Japan,

The main difference is Trump has only killed people tacitly by managing slums in poor parts of America. The leader of North Korea....

I forget if was Ford or Chevy but one of those companies did something similar to improve Milagros. It was Ford. During testing they emitted good levels of oxides of nitrogen. But at highway speed the oxides went up. This was by design to circumnavigate the test process. I guess VW wasn't paying attention. Orperhaps they are using ford ignition controls ????
