That photo.

Kid: Mama, is it OK if we wear our masks so they aren't covering our noses?

Mother: Of course! If its safe for Papa, then its safe for everyone!

That's just how numbers feed into the system after the weekend - there is always a spike on a Tuesday.

Except today is Wednesday. We already saw the Tuesday "spike" to which you refer.

Why is it so difficult for people to acknowledge that it's NEVER a normal thing when the infections go up, regardless of the day of the week they are reported?

WHO cares.

Oh, wait. No it doesn't. WHO couldn't care less.

The time for WHO to be discussing this matter has long passed.

Ha! The "sporting world."

In other words, a bunch of out-of-touch, privileged, selfish individuals who got to skip the front of the vaccination line and have no way (or desire) to relate to the everyday folks who are suffering through the economic and emotional hardships of this horrible pandemic.

Koike, Hashimoto, and the IOC are just plain gross.

I dont get it, the vaccine is hard to administer (according to the government who won't allow dentists, paramedics, nurses etc to administer it) needs to be stored very cold and all that, but now your boss can buy a box on amazon and store it in the fridge with peoples bento's?

The headquarters of many major corporations in Japan have on-site, well-staffed and fully equipped medical clinics. My former employer has an entire floor of its Otemachi headquarters that serves as the employee hospital. Properly storing and administering vaccines poses no challenge whatsoever to these operations.

Suga and Koike win the Olympics gold medal for synchronized incompetence.

There will always be this army of trolls who vehemently defend this criminal despite the fact that he absconded from Justice.

Precisely. The irony is that they identify with Ghosn even though they have absolutely nothing in common with him. It's not unlike the poor-as-dirt hillbillies who support Trump.

These 2 ex-green berets are true heroes.

Fact check: Peter Taylor isn't a former Green Beret. He never even served in the military.

And Michael Taylor is the polar opposite of a hero. He's had numerous run-ins with the law (sexual assault, tampering with evidence) and was convicted and sentenced to two years in prison for procurement fraud. He has forever sullied the reputation of the Green Berets and all of the U.S. military.

Unlike some, I refuse to bow deeply and pleasure the charlatans in charge of the terribly flawed and mismanaged response to the pandemic. The world knows the truth.

Not enough info. The person who ran needs to be held responsible for doing so, but with the way people ignore bicycle laws in this country the woman could have been at fault for the collision.

Nor is there enough info to make a victim-blaming statement like that.

I'm not going to speculate as to whether foul play might have been involved. But nowadays, nothing would surprise me.

I predict fitter falls into the numbers are insignificant as we see the vaccines being administered at rocket Lee’s.

I have nothing to do with with the vaccinations.
