Making a movie about that stupid woman and what happened is a dumb idea. I'm sure it will be a total flop and boring.

The mother should be put in prison and her child should be adopted by a loving family. As a father I am disgusted and saddened every time I read articles about things like this.

No wonder this is an award for finger nails. They certainly wouldn't win anything for the clothes they are wearing. The four women look absolutely awful!!!! What a rabble of strange looking misfits.

Such a shame that there is another story involving a Japanese police officer doing something really wrong. I wonder how they compare with police in other countries.

The only good thing about this story is that it comes with a large size photo. JT, please make this a common practice to have decent sized photos with each of your articles.

Posted in: Becky and Ryuta Sato win Best Smile of the Year awards See in context

Yes I agree with you "terebiko" and "jonsnow" that Becky is great and interesting on all the different shows that she appears on. I just wish she would get rid of the "Tomboy" look and dress more fashionably. She's quite pretty with a unique face but I think she would look much better if she actually wore a skirt sometimes or something a bit more figure-hugging.

I was at the game too, "ihavearrived", and I totally disagree with you. It was a great atmosphere and a very enjoyable evening. However, I do agree with "sasukene" that the 1st half was much better than the second half. I believe that was mainly due to the referee. There were far too many penalties. If after the first few the ref had spoken to both captains and said that the next ones were going to be yellow cards, then it would have stopped all the crap that was going on, especially the Wallabies diving in off their feet at almost every ruck just killed the game.

It would have been much better to have a large photo of the two young women than seeing that fool's smiling face.

Posted in: Man dies after stabbing himself, wife and 6-month-old baby in Aichi See in context

It makes you wonder what would drive a man to want to kill his own wife and child. Did he have mental health problems? Was he suffering from depression? Maybe he was up to his eyeballs in debt to the yakuza.

Posted in: Lift-off See in context

I was at the game and I think it was an excellent way to encourage the growth of rugby in Japan and the rest of Asia. However, I do agree with you "BurakuminDes", especially the large amount of penalties. This problem was mainly the referee's fault. If after the first few penalties he had told both captains that the next penalties were going to be yellow cards then it would have stopped all the crap that was going on. But also the Wallabies were going into almost every ruck off their feet and lying all over the ball, that killed the game in the second half.

Unfortunately, in this country the "industry" that panders to disgusting, sick and weird guys is huge. And young women know that they can make a lot of money living out the fantasies of these dirty old men. Yes, "Darkknghtz", that's a very good point but I'm sure it won't come out at the end of the investigation.

Posted in: Cop caught taking up-skirt videos during anti-pervert campaign See in context

I agree with you "womanforwomen". It's always people saying, "oh, the poor girls, they are totally innocent. Let's all feel sorry for them". But some women wear mini-skirts that barely cover their bums. If they want men to look at their legs and above, then why are they so shocked when men take photos of them. I certainly don't advocate men violating the personal space of these women but come on girls have a bit of modesty, why don't you!!!!

"dbung10" I agree with you. I've taught English to a lot of Japanese police officers both uniform and plain clothes and I've also had friends who are police officers, but you have to admit that these kinds of stories seem to be happening quite often over the last few years, more than just one or two.

I hope that you are right "Spudman". I hope the Wallabies do get their arses kicked and the ABs give them a hiding. I can't wait, I've got a ticket and will be going to the game with some of my team mates. I just hope we get good weather and a dry field so everyone can see a lot of fast flowing rugby. Go the All Blacks!!!!

Posted in: What do you think of the name Tokyo Sky Tree for the new tower under construction in Tokyo for terrestrial digital broadcasting? See in context

If there was a contest for stupid names given to buildings and towers, this name would win hands down!!!! This is yet another example of Japan using English to try and look cool but coming out looking completely stupid. I don't know for sure but I bet they didn't consult any native English speakers when they chose this dumb name.

"dbung10", I didn't say that role models HAVE TO BE attractive. If you had read my comments carefully, you would have understood that I said it was wonderful that they had these attributes, not that they had to have them.

I don't no what all the fuss is about with Akina. She is only average on the scale of attractiveness, her shaggy hair style looks terrible and when she speaks she shows what a complete airhead she is!!!! I think she is a terrible role model for young Japanese women. She is so typical of the types that you see on the "variety" shows like Hexagon and Waratteitomo. I think Japanese young women need to see more positive role models like the smart and attractive women that often appear on the quiz show "Q samma". Those women are usually graduates of top universities.

The series of "Fast and the Furious" are good action movies but the acting sucks big time. Why is Rina Fuji on that stage. They should have had a women with a much more "ample" figure and wearing something that would go with the movie.

Posted in: Iran says it is prepared to crush any military threat See in context

I certainly don't believe in war, but in the case of Iran and also North Korea I really think the UN (not just America) should invade those countries. All the diplomatic rubbish and weak sanctions does nothing. All technology to make nuclear weapons should be removed and a care-taker government put in place until elections could be held. If we truly want this world to be nuclear free and at peace then decisive action is called for.

She is an absolutely gorgeous woman, who is also a talented singer and dancer. I just wish that she would put on some weight to have a fuller figure, because she is a role model for a lot of young Japanese women.
