NK has no balls to fight a nuclear war against the US and its allies since they know that they will be obliterated in a matter of days even if the Allies don't use nuclear weapons against them. What the NK is doing right now is just for show, bluffing that their nation is "strong", strong enough to engage an all-out-war against the Allied nations. They will need either the Russia and/or China to fight a war against the Allies.

But a nuclear war is scary, its no good and it will be the end of humanity once a nuclear war happens. No one is a winner.

@WilliB

A lot of people who watch porn does not like child porn, it sickens them.. The people who can stomach this one are the people who "fantasies" having sex with children. And a lot of this crimes are triggered by this kinds of material. How can this materials stop crime if it shows a man having lots of "fun" having sex with children. Its not like they show people who watch this that child rape is bad and don't do it.

Have you seen lolita themed JAV? If not I will give you its plot.

The guy sees a "girl" in the neighborhood, he thinks she's cute He follows/stalks the girl. He sexually harass the girl when he is alone/ Lures the girl into his home and sexually harass her Rapes her over and over The girl becomes addicted to sex that she becomes his sex slave. Note: They guy is usually portrayed as an middle-age man or a old man.

I will not deny I saw this kinds of JAV material but I am not a fan of them. The theme is sick and is like a manual for rape. So tell me how this materials prevent crime? I want to hear from your side since this is an open forum.. No hard feelings.

@Wc626 I haven't seen that poster, but I believe that the people in the entertainment management are sexually exploiting idols. I don't wanna elaborate it here because it is in another article (you could look it up). But in lieu with the topic, seeing 13 year old girls on swimsuit in sexy poses could trigger sexual fantasies, plus you could see idol groups plugging their group saying "ALL MEMBERS ARE 18 BELOW", "AVERAGE AGE IS 13". It is a clear sign of sexual exploitation for me.

@WilliB One time watching it cannot make you a child molester/killer. Besides as you had said, you are not interested in watching this kind of material. But with this guy.. If its true that he is watching child porn on his computer. Then he is a maniac who wants to prey on little children. As you said, if you are forced to watch it, its not equal to "I want watching it".

and as the article said upon the perps testimony:

Kimino said he just wanted to be friends with Ikuta and draw a picture of her because he thought she was cute.

Do you believe a guy watching porn (presumably child porn), followed, stalking, then lured a little girl in his home, just wanted to draw a "picture" of her because she is cute? Do you think this guy just suddenly thought of luring a girl into his home out of nothing, no particular source material or trigger? I am no detective, but please look at the facts.

After the Yakuza, bring down the other crime syndicates. If they can bring down the Yakuza they could do it to others as well. I know its hard but if the government has the will to do it, they can. The problem is a lot of politicians are connected to the crime syndicates themselves. That's why they cant be brought down easily.

People should be informed that THIS happened, A lot of Japanese are denying the "comfort women" issue and say things like the women who say they are victimized, are volunteers to have sex with the Japanese soldiers which are all false. My country also suffered with this "comfort women" issue. And still this people wants justice for what happened to them. This should be released in Japan as well, people here need to be educated by it.

@djv124

I think the point of the article is that if a scandal occurs, the people focuses on the women and not the men. Just like Minegishi when her scandal was released, all eyes where on her and not with the Generations member. Yeah you will hear news about the guy, but almost 90% is about Minegishi. Same as Becky, you will see that Becky lost everything, but the guy is still active. The point is not bashing AKB or anything, it is the sexual inequality that is present in Japan.

What actions does this "special" unit is doing? talk the gangs out to stop fighting? It's just a band-aid, they will start fighting again after a few months or so.

They know that this guys are the source of drugs, gambling and prostitution in Japan (which are all illegal). But they all just stand there watching them do their merry ways. At least dig information linking to them and persecuting this gangs. If they want to protect and clean Japan of crime. Cleaning up the Yakuza and other gangs is the first step. This kind of violence will never stop unless the Yakuza is still there. I know its hard but if you want peace, do something about it.

Lolicon or not this so called "SDF" guy, who are supposed to protect its people is blackmailing a young girl with intent to have sexual intercourse. You could hear a lot of this cases recently.

Legal age of not this guys is a perverted maniac who prey upon young girls. Japan needs some serious investigations about pedophelia in their country..

Posted in: Suspect in 6-year-old Kobe girl's murder says he did not plan to molest her See in context

Killing the girl because the girl was refusing/running away from being molested by this pedophile is the only thing I could think of. Because dismembering her was just to give a hard time identifying to poor girl. And because he panicked for killing the girl he left a lot of evidence leading to him. If just "drawing" a picture of a girl was your motive, how come it resulted to strangling her and dismembering her?

It was clearly a rape gone wrong.. This guy is a maniac..

And I truly believe porn was the trigger to this. As child porn is abundant in Japan (including AV actress looking like young girls).

Drinking problems with Japan again... Does the Japanese cannot regulate what they drink? Being drunk is not an excuse to do sh*tty things. Plus he is a police office, duty or off duty he should at least be a model to the people. They know what being drunk can do, they encounter drunk people a lot, yet still they themselves are doing the same thing..

The government should really put effort to look into the mental health issues of their citizens. It's very common nowadays to hear news of parents killing their own child because of money and "cannot raise my child anymore". This is a serious issue and if the government does not do something about this, it would get worse.

I know that your mental health issues are your own problem, but I think the government must educate the people to at least check if they have mental health issues. A lot of this issues are being not entertained/looked upon.

Japan should really look in their pedophilea cases really seriously. You would almost hear a lot of this cases about girls missing. To be honest the first step I think is to ban "lolita" themed porn (maybe that's what he is watching) since this kind of porn material suggests to this kind of people that it is OK to do it.

Plus I don't believe he has no intention of molesting the girl, stalking her and luring her to your room is a recipe for rape if you ask me. This guy should be punished with life imprisonment. Execution is too light for this guy.

@Grant Chesley Thank you for your info. But aiming at the center mass has a highest probability of killing the suspect right? So once you pull out your gun in a close combat situation it mean that your only choice is to kill the suspect? In this case, if they don't want to kill the guy, they should just have taser guns or something non-lethal to neutralize the suspect if he is armed.

@James Burke You're right, I saw a lot of police officers here only carrying revolvers. The fact that guns are not technically allowed in Japan and only the police are allowed to use them. I think the government is only regulating the use of guns even in the police force. But they should be at least be knowledgeable or could properly handle a gun in case of a big crisis arise like say a terror attack (hopefully not). We live in a dangerous world and the police force are the ones who should response first at the first sign of trouble.

@Saori Michazuki

Thank you for your post. You are right. No man or woman deserves to be treated like things people can just dispose. We all have a right to live and be treated fair, regardless of gender or status.

Everyone makes mistakes, sometimes these are mistakes we regret for life. But we have to stand up and move on. I'm glad to hear that after all you had been through you rebuilt your life and restarted. I wish you and your family a happy and prosperous life ahead. You had found a great man and I hope your daughter will become as strong as you. Best of luck!

And according to the article its just 130 cases that had been filed.. For sure a lot of the victims didn't report their experience out of fear or shame (Knowing its Japan). This is certainly a big issue that the people just ignore.. And that's really the saddest part about it..

@erlols Yes. Education is important to fight this, but the goverment itself must do something to protect its citizens. I don't know if in the west is the same but alot of the ”scouts” does not even know anything about modeling for example.. This are people who are there because they saw advertisments in the net and hold cameras just to look like actual photographers..

@presto345

A good example is "Live Chats", the contract says they will just "talk" to clients just like a call center agent. But once they sign the contract they will be forced to strip down and do what the client wants them to do because it is "written" in the contract. Failure to do so will force you to pay a penalty or get sued.

"Written" I mean, it is written in the contract but in places you would not think it is important and written in small or hard to read fonts..

That's only one example. There are LOTS of jobs like this.

That shows us that the Japanese Judiciary System is not effective. Given that he killed a man, and leaving him in a back of a van for someone to see is not "life-saving measures". She clearly had time to call an ambulance and give him proper medical care if she really cared for the man's life.

5 years probation is not equal to a man's life, who were the judges here and how did they come to a sh*tty verdict. This guys should be debarred for this. It's clearly injustice.

The fact that the neighbors didn't knew that they had a baby is a mystery. They intentionally killed the baby for some reasons they are not telling. This people should be locked up, what kind of people would do such a thing to a harmless baby. May his soul rest in peace.

@erlols They enforced "anti-harassment" laws against Izakaya scouts? (The ones who are outside asking if you need a place to drink). I saw on TV that they do it but I think its just for show. If they are really serious about this "anti-harassment" issue they should implement the law as you had said.

@harvey pekar You're right, a lot of them are victimized because they will see that the pay is high (usually around 25k+ per day which is usually 4 hours of work). At first its just like any work, post as a model / talk to clients who are looking for chat mates, but once you signed the contract its over. They know that young women in Japan loves fashion and likes to be on trend, so they use this advantage to make money out of their body which is really disturbing.

Having a relationship or having sex with his/her student is illegal right? He should be in jail considering the girl is a minor. 20 is the legal age in Japan. But @Speed is right, 18 is the legal age for a women to enter JAV which is really confusing despite you couldn't drink/smoke when you are below 20 which is considered a minor.

But still, having sex with his student is still a crime right? He should be locked up, and don't allow him to teach again. This kind of guys are crazy.

If the equipment arrives in the Philippines, make the transactions transparent, and leave records of where and how the equipment are used. I am from the Philippines and I don't trust the officials and some high ranking officials in the government. They themselves are the ones who sell arms to the rebel/terrorist groups in the country. The guns that the US gave to the officials, some of them are on the enemies side already. And give appropriate budget for maintenance and repairs of the equipment, I doubt that after 1 or 2 years this ship will not be on top condition (namely: broken engine, broken radars, etc). Don't let the officials handle the money, show the people where the money is going. That's why the Philippines is vulnerable to attacks and will be sitting ducks in an event that the US or Japan cannot come to its aid.

What will be his punishment this time? Beating a woman up + theft should put him in jail. But maybe they will make him right a promissory note that "He promise not to do it again". He was once arrested for stealing underwear and maybe they just leave him a warning and made him write a promissory note.. This is a clear evidence that the promissory note system doesn't work. This are soon to be rapist if you let them just go believing that they will not do it again. Lock them up and enforce the law! Protect your people, not your image!

As my girlfriend told me, the cops here in Japan are not as tough / well trained as other countries. As far as I know you could become a police by just passing their examination, you could enroll in some schools to focus on that exam so that you could become a police. Not unlike other countries that you should pass the exam for police officers and do rigorous training at the same time. (Note: This is just what I know and don't know if this is 100% true).

They don't have the initiative to take down this guys plus they are technically "legit" since they are working for companies as "scouts" (They scout people, Yes, but they are not professionals and just doing it like some part-time job). They prey to girls who look desperate or looks "dumb" (sorry for the word) and use them for their dirty deeds. Plus the entertainment industry is almost run by the Yakuza which makes it more harder to crack down this kind of business.

@Brian That I don't know about.. Looking at the themes of JAV like 100 men an 1 woman (You could find a lot of these), it should be a real concern.. A lot of the male who participate in this videos are just random guys who they hire (sort of extras)., Maybe they have health screenings that we don't know..

But you are right, this should be a concern, especially the actresses..

I saw this one show that showed a victim of this sort of harassment. As I remebered, she was promised a job I think it was to just talk to people in skype. At first it was ok, then after a week or so, the management demanded her to wear sexy outfit. She refused but it was in her contract. The management said, ”Do it or get sued”. Yes it was written, she showed a copy. But it was written in the buttom of the contract with a small font that you would think of it as a footer note..

This type of scams are not a isolated case and Japan must protect its people from this kind of BS crap
