Posted in: Woman arrested for killing bedridden mother See in context

The sick nature of japanese murders continue to surprise me. Is there anything the japanese miss out on during childhood? such things like common sense? Why do they always kill their family members over trivial matters, not considering consequences at all.

he might have been stopped by a gun, but was it necessary? that's what tazers are for!!!! then he would have been able to serve his time. but on the other side, a piece of trash was removed from the world so win win?

I've been to Ueno Zoo. You don't need to look far to find stressed and depressed animals. Such a sad state of affairs

I like living in Japan and all that, but I gotta say, you Japanese have a fragile mentality like no other.

Posted in: What do you think is the biggest threat facing the world in the near future? See in context

Other: The biggest problem is all the crazy religion nuts around. Doesnt matter which religion, it's crazy we allow people to be doing it in the first place. Imagine a country basing its laws on star trek because they think it's real? It's the same thing.

The nature of the crimes I read about in Japan vs my home country is just insane. What the hell is wrong with the mentality of the Japanese people? Something is not as it should be

Posted in: Japan's population marks steepest decline ever See in context

We'll see the same next year. Why? Because Japan doesn't have any welfare for new families or pregnant women. Are you a working lady with child in a non-international (read: Japanese) company, then you're likely to lose the job. And I really can't figure out why there are so many old people in Japan. Everywhere I go the japs smoke like chimneys, absolutely everywhere, freaking all of them

Clubs and partying is a dangerous, dangerous thing. A man and a woman might do things to each other in there, sexual things. I guess they are afraid of that fact. Maybe they forgot to open their eyes a bit wider and take a look at the soaplands and pink salons scattered around Tokyo in every major city.

Posted in: 15-year-old boy turns himself in after killing mother, grandmother See in context

The bizarre nature of murders in Japan continues to amaze me. Freaking children killing off their parentage every 2-3 weeks, or some random guy stabbing or killing someone just because he wanted to know what it felt like. What the .... is wrong with the mentality of the Japanese?

Posted in: How women can manipulate clueless men See in context

There is only 1 way women can control any man. First, be beautiful and hot, secondly, use that to your advantage, show cleavage and what not. That's all there is too it. For any female readers out there that want to test this theory, please let me know. I am very available for scientific tests

Gary Raynor got it right. These 3 points are nothing but simple politeness, taught from a young age to us. A little respect and politeness will get you further than forced formality in my opinion, and it doesn't even cost a calorie to perform it.

Posted in: Japanese fans get first look at Apple Watch See in context

I feel like apple is big in japan solely because it is fashionable/popular, considering it's overpriced, less functional than other tech out there. I will never understand why people go zombie mode and praise apple. apple's old slogan used to be something along the lines of "cheaper and more functional" vs other tech. now it is reversed completely

Not being Japanese, I'm a pretty good liar. So when my J friends naively try to lie to me, I know it instantly due how poorly it is carried out.

In order to make a good lie, you've gotta believe it yourself! And it's not a lie if you believe it!

Posted in: 8-year-old girl killed by truck while crossing street with mother, sister See in context

I see Japanese drivers go steady on yellow and red lights every day in Tokyo. I'm genuinely surprised not more people are hurt. Not to be rude, but so far the "bad asian driver" stereotype has proven to be true, and it's not because of this article. People don't care about traffic lights or rules, it seems.

Posted in: Video game makers grapple with need for diversity See in context

I have a bachelor in game programming in various languages, it is also a major interest of mine. I am currently taking my master's in A.I.

However I am most of the time disgusted with the game industry and how it blatantly milks money in shameless ways from consumers. Day-one-DLCs, DLCs in general, premium, subscription models.

Some of these work, sometimes, for the gamer (they always work for the company). Just look at EA, regarded as the scum of the game industry, making money like never before. The problem originated in these companies, but are being fueled by the consumers will to buy. Unless we stop buying the crap they put out, they'll just keep making it.

Posted in: Man's passport confiscated after he refuses to give up Syria travel plan See in context

I wonder if people would complain "where are his rights" if he possibly went to syria and returned with having received training from known terrorists, then carried out terrorism on japanese soil.

Who the hell goes to syria for anything legal anymore? It's not a country you go to for business, it's a war zone with no human rights.

Only problem is that if you have something to hide, and if you do, well too bad son.
