Posted in: Jordan ready to swap inmate for pilot but no mention of Goto See in context

Well, if this deal goes down, it will probably have to go down like this:

The Jordianian Govt will want to ensure the Pilot is safe before handing over Al-Rishswi, so ISIS will have to let him go first.

After the pilot is let go from ISIS and he is safe, The Jordanians will need to let out Al-Rishawi and ensure she makes it over to ISIS safe because they will still have Goto.

After Al-Rishawi is safe, ISIS will then need to let go Goto and ensure he makes it somewhere safe - like the nearest International Airport or the nearest safe town to Westerners (wouldn't want him tossed out of a car just anywhere).

Hopefully, it will go down that way.

Japan is frighten by China and they should be.

China is a Nuclear Armed Massive Military Giant that sits on a massive land mass bordering what? 4 Seas?

Japan is a small, peacful, Non-Nuclear Armed Nation and has a much smaller self defense force compared to this Fierce Nuclear Armed Communist Nation that fears Japan might someday might visit a little Shrine?

Wow, I had no idea that a Fierce Nuclear Armed Giant like China has so much fear in a little War Shrine that is not even located anywhere within 1,000 miles from their respective boarders (not including ADIZ's).

Gosh this little shrine must house a Massive Spirit in it that totally freaks out the Chinese to the point they must Massively Armed themselves and persistently try to aquire harass, intimidate, and threaten the Japanese AND they must have a set of ROCKS in the South China Sea that somehow have exotic Tuna?

I hear in China that there is s Massive Portrait of a man in the front of an exotic city known as "The Forbidden City".

I read that this Man (who is portrait on the front wall of this Forbidden City) wiped out 40 Million of his own democratic Chinese people in order to establish a Communist Party in China and then test detonated Nuclear Weapons in order to bring his newly founded Communist Nation to Full Power and Glory and then he immortalized himself on their Forbidden City's wall just to remind all the subjects who pass by and wonder "Why can't we vote?" "What is Liberty?" "Does my opinion really matter?"

Well, I am certainly happy that Japan's Good Friends - The United States is well positioned in Japan and with Brand New Radar's and a well devised "Nuclear Dome" over Japan just to make sure "Our Friends" remain safe from this Paranoid Fierce Nuclear Giant!

Well one thing is for certain, if Goto & Kaseasbeh are killed then al-Rishawi will certainly hang and ISIS doesn't get their "Tokyo Rose" (no offense to the real Tokyo Rose).

The ISIS Leaders have the worlds attention.

They should do the right thing and think this situation through very carefully.

Like try being sensible for a change?

These demands are obsurd and geared to just prolong the inevitable and to increase ISIS's Bloody Propaganda Campaign they're selling as a Caliphate.

I can assure you all of this: If Goto and or this Pilot dies, Rashawi will defiantly hang. And lucky for her that she will just hang and not suffer a blade around her neck.

Oh BTW: U.S. &,British Intelligence are moving in on Rambo Ninja. They will take this sick and twisted puke off of this planet the same way we took out his mentor Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi.

They underestimate the vaste resources The United States and our allies have in The Middle East and we will take them out.

Posted in: Japan says jets scrambling at record pace to counter Chinese, Russian intrusions See in context

Yes it's amazing that Japan must scramble "their fighter jets" in an all out effort to protect their property when WE - The United States are supposed to be protecting by abiding by the Peace Treaty that we forced Japan to sign that WE - The United States would honor to "Protect Japan's Property" and boarders.

So why aren't WE The United States scrambling OUR fighter jets in order to protect Japan and abide by the same security treaty that we forced Japan to sign in good faith that The Japnese have honorably upheld since the end of World War 2 ?

Japan is a Non-Nuclear Weaponed Nation consistently being harassed, tormented, and threatened by Nuclear Armed Giants like Communist China and Pro-Communist Russia who claim rights to property that does not belong to them nor within their respective boarders.

Again, why aren't we sending our jets aloft? That's my concern.

Posted in: Abe cuts short Middle East trip to deal with hostage crisis See in context

PM Abe should not get involved in Middle Eastern Affairs.

The complexity of the Middle East goes far beyond what the Japanese are capable of dealing with unless Japan plans to send Military Hardware and Advisors to Iraq along side the U.S.

And I hope the Washingron did not pressure PM Abe to get involved in Mid-East affairs.

Besides, Japan has enough to deal with China, South Korea, and Russia trying to steal their property away from them at every corner possible.

Serious lessons learned and unfortunately at the cost of human life - it just ain't worth it - not even for the U.S. to be this heavily engaged.

I just imagine what kind of world we would be living today without the need for oil.

Apple was so smart to wait on releasing the Apple Watch until after CES 2015.

Let everyone see what "follows" Apple and then wait for Apple to show the world the way.

Yes, I agree, Samsumg is a Leech to Sony and Apple and it's pathetic to look at Samsung's products without having to stop and think, "Ok, what did they copy this time?"

CES is a nice little show for all the Secondary Manufactures that are struggling and racing to play catch up with Apple, but just wait, the moment is upon us - Apple Watch, iPhone 6s, iPad Pro, and there's One More Thing, but ill keep it under wraps for now.

My Japanese Wife introduced the Southern All Stars to me a while back and I really like this band.

"I Feel the Echo" & "Ellie My Love" is one of my favorites, and I am happy to see Keisuke overcame his battle with cancer and he got back in the studio for a fresh new album.

I just wish iTunes in America would have the Southern All Stars, I'd certainly download a few of their albums.

Maybe we can get a tour in the U.S.A.? L.A. and New York?

Ya never know.

My iPhone 6 (64GB) works like a charm and since I've owned it from October to present, I have packed in 180 photos, 4 Time laps Videos, 6 Panorama's and 4 Slow Motions of my cats and only used up 4GB's. I also photo streamed all of my pics from my MacBook Pro and used 39MB of photo streaming with my iCloud account.

And besides if these 2 bozos are so concerned about running up their 16GB of dreamed up available storage that they are forced to iCloud - then what's the issue with that?

They can afford to spend $5,000 in attorney fees for the class action suit, but they cannot afford .99 Cents a month for 20GB's of Cloud storage that EXCEEDS their 16GB!!!

Posted in: Confused Japanese consumers want an answer: Where is P.R.C.? See in context

What the Japanese should do when exporting Food and goods that over 4 Million plus Chinese import every quarter from Japan, is for Japan to re-label their products from "Made in Japan" to "Made in E.O.J." - Empire of Japan.

That should sit well with the Chinese and Koreans that continue to drag World War 2 around like it just happened 7 years ago.

BTW, when has ever a Communist Country ever administered itself as a "Republic"?

The Roman Empire was more democratic than Communist China.

just saying...

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Posted in: Apple sued for promising more available storage space than it actually delivers See in context

OMG - How STUPID can these 2 Bozos from Florida be?

Number 1 - Apple never advertises "available storage" (as previously mentioned by reader John Becker) but they do advertise the "Storage Size". Not to be confused or dreamed up in someone's head that they will have a full 16GB of storage to put their silly pictures on (try purchasing a digital camera) - This is a "Smartphone" in particular an iPhone (intelligent phone).

Number 2 - The storage in ALL smartphone technology is Solid State i.e. SD drives and not spinning RPM Hard Drives that can, when commanded; defragment the disk in order to build the boot sectors and open up unused sectors for more storage and performance. Solid State does not work that way. Solid State must be partitioned in order to use a percentage (in Apple's Case) hidden Security Protections e.g. AV Protection - Ever wonder why Apple iPhones never get Bloat Ware? Plus SD stores all of your key strokes, searches, APP Data, 4G & LTE Configurations etc. This is known as "Other" when viewing your storage in either iTunes or "About This Mac" if you are using a new MacBook Pro with SD Drive. Theres's a lot going on behind the sccences that the common smartphone user is unaware of, and not to be intrusive, but to protect your privacy - all requires a certain percentage of storage on SD that is built into Apple's iPhones.

Number 3 & Finally, There are people out there who just want their 15 minutes of fame. It's obvious that these 2 Clowns are simply looking for notariery and to be ones who took on "The Big Apple" (or at least attempted too). What will become a reality is when the judge dismisses the suit due to the plaintiff's information was not properly researched nor properly understood and the plaintiff's being uneducated in the criteria for which they are suing. In other words, go to College and get a degree in Computer Science or Telecommunication Science and understand the engineering of the technology before throwing around a silly and frivolous lawsuit at a company who's technology you know nothing about.

And I womder if these 2 guys are on, or going to be on, the payroll of one of Apple's competitors? Just curious.

These are the type of bars where you drink and pay the Women to kiss you and then slap you around at the same time while you wear little black leather shorts - right?

And I guess that gets dudes excited.

I just don't see the excitement in that kind of recreation.

And if the politicians are spending tax money on that kind of recreation then those politicians should be "disciplined".

It's almost like a sarcastic Joke in a way...

The truth is: China will never have any genuine intentions of ever taking with Japan's Top Leaders EVER regarding the Senkakku Islands, World War II etc.

China is just throwing THEIR opportunities away and it's quite notable that as long as The U.S. remains committed to the Peace Treaty Obligations to Japan, then there will be no reason for Japan to STOP the incursions of Chinese, South Korean, and Russian ships and planes into its sovereign LONG STANDING Terreiotiry.

Let's see how this plays out tomorrow in the press after "The Shrine" visit.

Since Steve Jobs returned to Apple and before his death, he gave Tim Cook his vision for the future of Apple - all written down on one piece of paper.

Tim and his brilliant team of engineers at Apple have certainly honored Steve Jobs by carrying the torch of innovation and technology forward into this New Frontier of the Information Age.

I continue to be dazzled and impressed with Apple and Samsung should really appreciate Apple otherwise if Apple never introduced the Smarphone, Samsung would still be fighting Sony in the Television Market (Bow to your Masters Boys...Bow to Your Masters).

More Political Propaganda from the Raciest Nationalists Politicians in China & Soith Korea.

Is this the only thing they can Grand Stand upon?

Besides,, I just watched on NHK that there has been over 1.2 Million Chinese Tourist visiting Japan since January 2014 ~ August 2014 - THIS YEAR!

Does that translate to "We hate Japan"?

*I don't think their propaganda is working very well.

When NHK interviewd some of the tourist from China, the Chinese tourist said "We love Japan. We have no idea why our Givernment says such terrible things about Japan and the Japanese. So far everyone had been so polite and nice to us and Japan is so Cool!"

Same interviews went for the South Korean Tourist and same answers, so it is very obvious and transparent that their governments are spitting out all this Hate and Propadanda and I am happy to learn that the people themselves from China & South Korea are traveling to Japan and seeing the truth for themselves and learning first hand that their governments are just full lies about Japan.

Finally, there was study conducted by a French University that examined the population of China & South Korea immediately following WWII and the study discovered that the population in China and South Korea didn't drop hardly at all compared to the levels before the Japanese invaded China & South Korea, so where's all the massacring, rapes, and sex slavery comming from?

The mathematics are just not in their favor - sorry and I do believe that Japan did not commit all of these "alleged atrocities" at the levels being reported by China & South Korea therefore I think we need China & South Korea to tone down the retoric and start working with Japan with a more clear and transparent point of view.

Since Steve Jobs took over Apple years ago and before he died, he really turned Apple around into the the most innovative technology company in the world.

Samsung would still be in fighting Sony in the Television market if it were not for Steve Jobs introducing the iPhone and the iPad.

These innovations by Apple revolutionized the way we look at life and these innovations changed our lives forever and I commend Steve Jobs, Tim Cook and the brilliant Engineers at Apple for taking us into a New Frontier.

I personally own an iPhone, iPad, and the New MacBook Pro with Retina Display and I guess I consider myself a "Mac Man".

I certainly look forward to seeing Apple's next new innovation wether that be an iWatch, iPhone 6 and any other innovation.

All we ca do at this point is call in Apache Gunships and go Street-to-Street in Tilkrit and Mosul and get ISIS "moving" - like get them moving out in the open so they can die exhausted!

Hopefully that may bring an end to their self proclaimed Caliphate.

@WilliB Assad is a Shia which is why this Civil War in Syria started from the Very Get Go. Sunni Minorities were demanding a more open voice and they protested peacefully until Assad's Forces took to the streets and started gunning people down.

*And lets not forget that Assad's Big Buddies are Russia and the Commies in China. They just happen to sell Assad all kinds of Military Toys like Tanks, Guns, Cannons, Fighter Aircraft, and Chemical Weapons.

Washington knew he had chemical weapons and drew a "Red Line" for him not use them and how did Assad respond to Washington's "Red Lined" threat? He used chemical weapons on his own people.

When Washington moved warships near Syria, Russia and China moved their warships in front of our warships.

And how did Washington respond?

They coward away and started negations with Assad...pathetic eh?

ISIS was born out of these Rebels from Syria that we supported with Small Arms, RPG's, and Surface-To-Air Missile Launchers and now they're using those same weapons and a few from dead Syrian and Iraqi Soldiers to Sweep Across Iraq in the name of Sharia and eventually they will try and use those weapons against us.

Hanging ourselves with our own rope is not the kind of Foreign Policy I expect from Washington, but that seems to be the norm these days.

Are we all insane?

Well, that depends on what you consider to be "sane".

Posted in: Jihadists claim beheading of U.S. journalist in Syria See in context

First of all, Thoughts and Prayers to James Foley's Family.

And according to other sources, ISIS has other foreign journalist detained that they are withholding.

Secondly, Washington has 2 Choices at this point: 1. Escalate this into a full blown "Operation or Campaign" and put boots back on the ground to fight ISIS or 2. Leave it all to the Iraqis and Kurds to fend for themselves.

Washington has really failed on Foreign Policy around the world.

Thirdly, Washington had a chance to stand on that Red Line in Syria, take down Bashier Assad and we wouldnt have this ISIS problem would we?

You all know ISIS are those Sunni Rebels from Syria right? The same rebels we tried to arm and its also speculated that some ISIS Fighters are former members of Sadam's Sunni Regime that were ousted during "Iraqi Freedom" and now they have all come to reclaim what they believe is or was theirs at one point in time - Iraq.

They are using the "Islamic Caliphate" as the platform for their Sweeping Campaign into Iraq and these ISIS Fighters are really pissed off and they are willing to die at any given second in the name of Sharia.

Not to mention, Iraq still holds the 2nd largest Oil Reserves in the world, therefore, the worlds wealth is still sitting underneath all that sand as well.

There is really no way to stop this madness unless Washington makes the regretful decision to send American Troops back into Iraq, get back into the fight, finish the job, and finally Secure the Borders.

That is the only sound way to Secure the Peace and Secure the Oil Reserves.

Finally and perhaps in the future, Washington will a actually stand firm on its Foreign Policy instead of giving the world "Lip Service" in order to just hang on to the "Status Quo".

I don't think China and South Korea have any problems with the Japanese visiting any Shrines whatsoever - especially in their own Country.

This not at issue.

What is at issue is THIS Shrine in particular.

But I have to admit that when the Japanese snuck in those 13 War Criminals Names into the "Book of Souls" at Yasukuni (in the dead of night in the 1980's) - I think that is what set the pace for all the bitterness we see today between these Asian Giants.

Why did they have to do that? What was purpose of that?

Why mix PM Tojo's Name in with Sakamoto Ryoma's?

Ryoma a well Admired & Noted Hero to most Historians and Tojo a noted War Criminal - I just don't see the logic and that still baffles me today.

What's done is done and unfortunately and according to Shinto Law, once a name is entered into a Shrine it becomes 1 with that shrines Kami (God) and can never be removed.

Again, I just don't see the logic in it all.

Japan needs to be very careful about giving things back to Communist China - That could establish an unwanted Geopolitical Proxy of "You gave that back, now give us this back..."

Keep in mind that Japan has already apologized to Communist China & South Korea for alleged "War Atrocities" and since then, Japan has unfortunately set a bad precedence for themselves (that is why America never apologized for dropping the bombs on Hiroshima & Nagasaki - Bad Proxy)

Besides, making appeals or demands to The Imperial Court is something the Japanese will not accept from China or South Korea.

The Imperial Family is at The Heart of the Japanese Culture and tampering with their culture will only result in a simple: "No, but would you care for some Green Tea?"
