Posted in: Video game makers grapple with need for diversity See in context

Gamers have always just been gamers, and no one made much of a fuss until things started to get popular. Now that money can be made off of drama, here come people like Anita sarkeissen and zoe quinn to make cash money. Anita who steals other gamers game play to make on like she is playing games as well as not even being smart enough to plug in controllers duringn photo shoots because that turns on the lights that show its on and then zoe who makes depression quest which is little more than a "choose your own adventure" book on a monitor and gets surprised that she gets threats when she becomes a public figure. I've had a YouTube channel for 6 years and with only 22,000 subs I get daily threats that I'll get beat up and killed. That's just part of being a public figure and nasty part of the net. If you don't want it don't join it and don't put yourself out there. and don't suggest it's cause you are a "gamer girl." Gamers are "gamers" plain and simple no man calls himself a gamer boy no transgender calls themselves gamer trans. I thought JT was better than this and would stay out of this hashtag. Yet here we are hearing a super old story that is half baked. No mention of how zoe quinn attacked mundane matts videos, the secret letters between kotaku and how escapist raised two middle fingers and walked away. Also game makers and reviewers calling gamers "dead" because they wouldn't just sweep the BS under the rug. Seriously JT if you are going to half jump into a story a million years too late at least save face by covering it in full.

Hog the train? Wow thanks for obvious subjective opinion. I hope you never have kids. You will find they hog a lot of your life.

Posted in: Hulu Japan offers not just movies, but a little education and awesome customer service too See in context

Hulu Japan was so bad I cancelled the free 2 week trial before it was even close to finished. They have the most pathetic and limited selected of Japanese movie titles I have ever seen. Who ever wrote this article must have 1. Been paid off to do piece on Hulu by Hulu or 2. Have little to no knowledge of Japanese or western media therefore they are unable to realize how limited the selection is.

If one wishes to expose themselves to the public via posts, vlogs, or blogs one needs a thick skin. Share your opinion with the world and be ready to have them share theirs back.

If your kids are young enough to be in a stroller they shouldn't go to school? So 2 year olds shouldn't go to school? Says who? My kids school starts at 3 months. And again we don't all have house wives to watch and raise them. Someone should take years off to raise them? Not whn the average cost of raising a kid in Japan is 22 millikn yen. Morons you obviously are not raising kids here so your subjective points are moot

Wow Harry you obviously don't have kids. So what should I do with my kids when I have to get them to school an then to my job at rush hour? Not all husbands have housewives. Imagine a world where both parents work full time and raise kids full time and do full time house keep. There is a lot of us and what you have just recommend would be idiotic.

Dang the clock tower in Sapporo wasn't THAT bad lol. I agree its NOT a tower but more of a little house with medium sized clock on top. Hey there weren't long lines and their staff was really nice....I mean I wasn't expecting much when I went so I guess I wasn't disappointed. Akarenga was kinda boring though. Otaru was Super boring. Even the cab driver who took us back to the station told us, "no fun right? Yeah this place booooooring."
