Much better off. We are creaming the markets with our fund, up over 60% on the year. I bled RBC dry before leaving and took a lot of its cash into my hedge fund. They are simply clueless about where their money went. Their FX people were losing money every month like you could not imagine, still betting on a weaker yen. That firm would be better off if we could have hired more educated people, especially in the FX division, which has been populated with fake tough guy morons for about a decade now.

As opposed to places that hand out oshibori to customers only after they order something

Sarge, yes, that was the way it was done before. I don't get what's so funny about that.

Crush the competition. Rid self of all mercy or compassion. Bleed dry those who stand in the way.

Take four eyes for an eye.

Much better. Creamed the markets at about 60% with our fund. Just picked up a fourth home.

Full 40km run from 6am every day. Then hit the gym. Then spend about 3-4 hours meeting clients and making sure our fund is run right. A quick lunch, salad and chicken breast. Then back to the gym for weights. A few more hours of work, then ride the bicycle about 60km. And lots of sex, it's good for you! I get some from the girls at the gym, some from the girls at work and some to bring home here and there, plus the occasional client. Anyway, then it's off to the dojo to practice for the next nationals. On weekends add in shooting range.

I always let a lass know up front that no one woman can satisfy me, and that the relationship will probably end due to my cheating. So let's just have some fun for a few months.

It's inherently wrong to tell other cultures what they can eat or not eat. That's imposing one's own culture on another, a form of imperialism. Please explain why you believe you have the right to do so.

Because I'm bigger, I'm stronger, and I'm right. Always.

the whaling methods employed by major whaling nations today are humane. If you have a problem you should take it up with the Americans first.

We already are. Stop trying to distract, it only makes you look like a lobbyist.

Sad comment on the folks in Osaka's culinary tastes.

I think it's a sad comment on Osaka's wallets. Bus drivers, truck drivers, construction workers, failed comedians, alcoholic Tigers fans - mate, that place can't drum up a single proper full-time job amongst their whole lot of millions.

some14some,

Go ahead, it is not illegal for BOJ or any other Central Bank to intervene, what is there to warn market players?

Ministry of Finance does the intervention, not BOJ.

Posted in: Why do you think "best" awards are so popular in Japan's show business world? See in context

It's advertising. It's because Dentsu runs things. It's cheap publicity. Most of these events are held in low-rent spaces, ie at the Dentsu headquarters.
