Hey, I know this is an older article, but I am OBSESSED with Japanese culture and was wondering is truly special outside of space now in Japan? I have this Aquatica deep soaking tub (https://bit.ly/3LKqx0S), which is of Japanese style, but it also keeps the water clean and perpetually heating. I don't think it is exclusive in Japan as long as you look for it, as I've seen it for not only their Japanese bathtubs... Even the wet room part, I've seen that option, too (although I don't have it), and I did not have to look too far on the website.

I'm from Canada, and I have a Japanese friend who also said that the bathrooms are usually cramped, like the living space, and that's why they have these cool tall deep soaking tubs to make up for the space, similar to what I have. Outside of the traditional style, which I love, what new technologies are being developed, and exclusively being used in Japan? Perhaps an update on this article? :)
