Actually, emerging evidence is showing that unvaccinated people develop noticeable symptoms and thus quickly get tested and self-isolate.
I assume this evidence came from the imaginary study that you did personally in your spare time? /smh
explain a vaccinated person infecting an unvaccinated person
Not that difficult. Vaccines are only 95% effective, or 88% against the Delta variant, so a small percentage have the possibility of contracting the virus and easily passing it to those that stupidly remain unvaccinated and unprotected.
Now if everyone were vaccinated the rate of transmission would be so low that the virus would have difficulty finding a host and the pandemic would be nearing an end.
One of the biggest problems is made up “evidence” against vaccination that we so often see on this board!

The PCR test can’t even tell the difference between COVID and flu? Yet it will still be used until the end of the year....why?
Actually that’s not true, the PCR test does reliably differentiate between COVID and influenza. The simple antibody test does have a some possibility however because there is a small, but real, possibility of it detecting the antibodies produced by other seasonal coronaviruses.
That’s why when someone tests positive with one of the quickie antibody tests it is confirmed with a PCR test to make sure it’s not a false positive.

…huge payouts after Walmart tries to block entry to people with vaccine allergies or people like Haredi Jews because of their beliefs.
Bring on the restrictions, and we'll bring on the lawyers and you'll be paying out big time for your eugenical apartheid.
I’m genuinely curious. Since you used “we” I wonder which to group you belong, the group with a vaccine allergy or the Haredi Jews?

A hundred years ago, you couldn't board a train in America without proving that you were vaccinated for smallpox.
And what happened to that tyrannical law?
Oh yeah, easily defeated in the courts.
Perhaps you’ve confused US history with that of another country?

Please let me know why the ''vaccines'' contain magnetized nano particles and graphene oxides.
This is exactly the type of misinformation that the article refers too. It’s hard to imagine some people actually believe these things and don’t bother to take the time to check. Do they always believe anything that appears in the net has to be true or it wouldn’t be there for them to read? smh

Weisselberg alone was accused of cheating the federal government, the state and the city out of more than $900,000 in taxes.

*Trump visited the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma.
We are talking about the US Southern border. We don't have illegals coming in and it's not stopping the mass exodus out of California
Of course you realize that his second visit was also California, right? In fact he didn’t visit the Texas border until Jan 10, 2019! Almost three years after he took office. Oh, and wasn’t that for a rally?

But that only works for one in the couple.
By that logic maybe you should suggest they switch surnames. smh

But if you gauged the demand for the vaccine by the number of expats wincing on Japan Today forums you would think 100% of the residents want it.
Or gauging by the other half of the comments you would think 100% of the residents DON’T want it.
The truth obviously lies somewhere in the middle and making a judgement based on JT comments is probably not the smartest way to judge demand.

Bribery? Doesn’t sound any better than what their accusing Ghosn of doing, but I guess it’s normal for government officials in Japan. smh

this has no basis in fact. The data that exists shows 74.2 million votes. why would 24.2 million people have switched to supporting Joe Biden?
I don’t believe anyone said 24.2 million people switched to supporting Biden. It was (at least) that many stopped supporting Trump! After January 6th it’s probably even more than that and, if there were another election today, Trump would lose again, most likely by even more than the 7 million he lost the popular vote by last election.

Oh come on!
The title doesn’t say it was a Russian “hack”, it says suspected Russian “origin”. And yes “origin”, by definition, means “that’s where it came from”. It also says the government doesn’t think the Russian government was involved. Either you didn’t read the article or your purposely trying to twist things...

So the Democrats want to tax people into oblivion even after the country has suffered over a year of lockdowns
If, after a year of lockdowns as you say, they still made over $400,000 then I think they could pay their fair share.

So far this morning I have seen over a dozen Japanese people without masks or wearing them incorrectly. All of the foreigners I’ve seen have been masked up properly.
I know you’ve stated this a number of times recently and it shows the huge difference in different areas. My experience here to the west of central Yokohama is exactly 180 degrees different. I spotted several foreigners without masks, and to be honest I don’t count, but not a single Japanese (assuming so by appearance anyway) not wearing a mask. And this wasn’t just this morning but the situation in general daily.

*Yes - the infection/death rate in those dangerous places are off the charts. Covid death rate in SD is *30 times that of Japan.
Totally false statement. Its nowhere close to that.
You’re right, not 30 times!
Actually, according to worldmeters, the deaths/1M in Japan is 74. In SD it’s 2,192. That’s only 29.6 times Japan’s death rate. Certainly not 30 times! /s

Given the fact that you have more elderly living in that state, I would think so, but the fact that kids are not dying and schools are allowed to reopen that in itself is a huge accomplishment.
You do realize that Texas ranks 48th on the list of States with the percent of population over 65, don’t you? Or are you deliberately ignoring facts to justify your position?
A smaller number of kids may be dying because of COVID than adults, but how many of those adults that did catch COVID were infected by the kids? I’m not sure there are any verified numbers on this but when that is one factor in the states with the highest death rate it needs to be considered. Unless, again, you just don’t feel the number of deaths is important.
7 ( +8 / -1 )
Both Texas and Florida have high rates of covid deaths.
Also Freedom and kids can go to school. So how many kids are dying? They’re not. People will continue to die and let’s not forget you have a lot of elderly people living in Florida so that affects the numbers as well. But anyway, no need to banter about this, these States are open for business and life and the Democrats can’t stop it. Kudos!
So, it’s the “elderly” living in Florida that most affects the numbers? What about Texas?
The three highest death count stares are California, Texas, and Florida, in that order. The only thing is that California has a population of nearly 40 million while Texas has less than 30 million and Florida just over 20 million. That means the per-capita death count in Texas is about 1,600/million and Florida about 1,500/million, both higher than California’s per-capita rate.
It’s true that people will eventually die, we’re all human. But when the State’s policies push it to the top of the death count those policies need changing. Or are you saying that those lives don’t matter?

$270 million for the National Endowments of the Arts and Humanities
$200 million for the Institute of Museum and Library Services
$10 million for the “preservation and maintenance of Native American languages”
OK, let me see if I’ve got this straight.
That’s about 2.5% of the bill that you say is not COVID relief related, so what you’re saying the other 97.5% of the bill is, right?

That means 100K+ need to be deported.
Actually the article says “encountered 100,441 migrants attempting to enter the country illegally”!
It doesn’t say how many actually “entered” the US so, from this, it’s hard to say how many might need to be deported. Just saying...

sticking a good portion of thse doses into a different vial that standard needles can reach the bottom of . . . . . . .
Based on my highly relevant experience with bottles of shampoo, I recommend injecting blood into 1/6 full vial, swilling it about, and then reinjecting the blood/vaccine mix.
There is no problem with the needles reaching the bottom and there isn’t a complete sixth dose remaining after using a high ddead draw syringe for the first five.
The problem is that some syringe designs have a larger wasted amount of vaccine remaining after injection. Low dead draw syringe design is the design choice now in the US with a slight majority of the syringes used being low dead draw, but this is less so in other countries.

China will continue to attempt growth by unilaterally bullying her neighbors and by force. I hope that the Biden admin can have more control of that aspect since the last admin was more about making cheap neckties, hat, and other cloths for sale in the US.
But good on earning your 50cents for the day!
