Japan and concerned international audience respectfully ask China to stop their incursions into the Senkaku Islands, otherwise known as the Diaoyu/Diaoyutai Islands.

Whether facemasks are effective against Ebola or not, Clever did a great deed. Btw, its the numerous government and associations that wanted to buy the masks in the first place. Instead of selling them, they're donating it to those who asked. It's not a meaningless gestures like some of you make it out to be.

Posted in: Japan says sex slave issue not a diplomatic topic after Obama comments See in context

what South Korea failed to tell Obama is that they 1965 Treaty resolved all issues during Japan's Colonization of Korea, and Japan's past apologies. Double Jeopardy?

Japan has done that, yet Korea still plays the victim card, which it no longer is. Korea have no shame.

It's a two way street, Don't think SK can just sit on it's laurels and that Japan have to do all the work. Korea needs to face up to the 1965 Treaty on Basic Relations between Japan and the Republic of Korea. Korea bears all responsiblitiies and compensation claims.

not to be objective, but I never thought SDF actually had a tough image. although some see those who joined the SDF are gun crazy, most thought that they only joined because they couldn't find a decent job or those that came from rural areas. which is ironic because Japan SDF is known to be highly educated, well trained and hard working.

What the SDF should do is to create an image that they are strong and dedicated to protect Japan, the people and it's territories. Project it's capabilities.

China have : -Deficits in memory skills -Difficulty learning social rules -Difficulty with problem solving skills -Delays in the development of adaptive behaviors such as self-help or self-care skills -Lack of social inhibitors -Agressive in nature, prone to outbursts -always getting into fights with the neighbors -Stealing, taking what does not belong to them.

Official Diagnosis, Mr. Mao Zedong, your China is mentally challenged. he have a mental disability.

DOUBLE JEOPARDY!

Since Japan already paid compensation through treaties signed with China and South Korea. When Japan normalized its relations with the PRC in 1972, Mao Zedong waived the claim of war reparations from Japan.

Any claims for compensation thereafter are responsiblities of the CCP, no longer Japan's.

The biggest threat to peace in Asia is most definitely China, North Korea a close second.

When China does something and others complain, China say it is no concern to them, when nations does something, even within their own country, China whines nonstop.

Idiot.

What China does in it's own country is none of Japan's business.... and vice versa. What Japan does and says in it's own country, say visit Yasukuni Shrine, revise the arms ban, re-arm it's SDF, is surely none of China's business, so China should stay out of those as well.

An Inspired and invigorated 2nd Half from Japan. They dominated most of the half and created several chances, not only that, they displayed the passing and style with those two goals and many chances. They could've scored on another goals but too bad. at least they fought until the end.

30 Million USD is a great gesture from Japan. What's would be even better is that Manila would approved of Japan's SDF team to aid the people in the disaster. The active, experienced and fully equipped search and rescue team would definitely help in the manpower persepective needed to rebuilt the towns and cities, provide them with water, food and a place as shelter.

Posted in: Japan readies huge island war games amid YouTube PR push See in context

Since Japan is using PR, why not create 2 unique mascot for the respective islands, as cute as possible. Produce items and goods and start promoting all over Japan and overseas, make anime, manga, etc. This is Japan's soft power, just add kawaii to it and it'll start gaining PR. The Japanese manga, anime and everything-kawaii industries are immensely popular. As well as Japanese cuisine, so make like, Senkaku Ramen, Takeshima Soba, or sushi, etc.

I'm all for it. I hope it'll applies to small arms like the Howa and Miroku firearms. Howa sells their M1500 rifles via Legacy Sports International overseas, while Miroku rifles and shotguns are sold in the US via Winchester, Weatherby and Browing firearms. All are well received in US from hunters to firearms enthusiasts. The Howa M1500 Lightning are relatively inexpensive, accurate right out of the box and are well-made. I personally would love to own a Howa Type 89 Assault Rifle, seems like a nice piece of weaponry.

the finger-cutting man, while he made the decision (probably not of sound mind) to dismember his own body bit by bit, he can't stop him for harming himself, despite reasoning. But throwing excrement is very unappropiate, non-humane behavior, animals do that.

The Mountain Man, he quit his job, made his wife works several jobs to make ends meet, all so he can walk around town, protests to protests, and while standing outside the Embassy, silently and occasionally singing, sounds like a very naive and selfish behavior which made his family suffer more so than his targets, Japanese embassy.

More so, several times a year, I read of such protests where the Koreans actually torture and kill innocent live animals such as pheasants, pigs and dogs. Such animal cruelty.

Posted in: China marks anniversary of Japanese occupation See in context

If China keeps asking every year, no reason Japan should keep apologizing. China keeps screwing with history and facts in their favor, ignoring the facts that apologies and compensations had already been dealt with. Instead, China keeps pushing the people anger onto Japan as scapegoats so as to take attention off their own horrid state affairs. Such a govt as the CCP could neither be trusted nor respect in international standing.
