if you don't like those rules. Then don't come to Kyoto. You won't be missed. Kyoto don't need disrespectful whatsits like you.

Those who are complaining that Kyoto people are being stupid, OBVIOUSLY do not live here. And probably are guilty of doing stupid things. I live here and the amount of time I have seen people from the USA and CHINA doing disrespectful things within Kyoto is beyond me. They IGNORE signs that say "do not take photos", they CHASE geiko down the road, they CLIMB and SIT on sacred things. They have no common sense at all.

Japanese people are too passive aggressive. They'll find another way to complain and get their own way.

Here in Japan. Foreigner men just think they're top dog, and think all the women want them. All they want is to tick off that little box in their head, thst they've slept with a Japanese girl. Japanese men on the other hand, assume that all foreigner women are the same - that we are easy. They think because we're foreigner, they can anything they want. Like:"I like big boob".

Not wonder the dating game is crap...

There are so many horrible comments made here. How rude can you be? You don't know what her situation was.

Just phase out coal, and don't let the Americans build anymore nuclear plants in Japan! The fukushima plant was made by Americans, who build their reactors underground because of their tornadoes. Of course, Americans think for themselves and one, didn't adapt the location of the reactor to Japanese needs and two, wiped their hands after the disaster and left Japan in their firing line. The UK, however, builds the nuclear reactors above ground, apating to what the Japanese need, in case of disaster.
