was quoted by police a saying he was drunk at the time and doesn’t remember the incident.

Why did I know I would read this in the article? He'll bow, pay, and walk away

So to get this clear, you think minors should be able to consent to sending naked pics

Again, you're putting words in my mouth. Did you even read my post? I said, nor did I imply, no such thing.

You seem to be saying that kids can consent, and that their consent should be enough

You seem to be, yet again, putting words in my mouth and commenting on them as if I had said then

Oh, so is the idea of statutory rape is a bad idea as well?

How tha hell did you make that logic leap from sending pictures to rape?

as a father I am always uncomfortable when adults show too much interest in my children.

As a creepy older guy with kids and grandkids, I agree 100%. I only briefly greet kids from our mansion when they are alone, and if I converse with (or teach) them in front of their parents, I tell them (parents) my name, apt#, and profession.

protect them from being coerced into providing nude pictures of themselves

Why do they insist on calling it coercion, when it's really just requesting/convincing? Because the idea that a "child" would do something like that of their own free will damages the delicate sensibilities of their parents.

@ Fizz - from the time the seedlings are planted, till just before the harvet, the fields are under water. So, for months the fields are producing methane.

Definately would have killed somebody if it hit them, so I can understand why they'd be upset. What makes me mad is watching news reporters in Tokyo interviewing moms with kids on the street. They were showing a half-tatami-sized square of something, and asking people and asking them what they thought. As if there wasn't enough trouble in Okinawa, gotta spread it to Tokyo.

Police said the list of 7,000 also includes the names of several other police officers and officials from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.

But as a professional courtesy, appointments were made so the searches wouldn't inconvenience them

What the article doesn't mention is that the biggest producers of greenhouse gasses in Japan are the flooded rice paddies. The rotting vegetation produces methane.

Sure, if by victory you mean having your armies vaporized, and your country turned into a sheet of molten glass
