"a lethality focused organization that will field space superiority capabilities."

We'll be needing it, being as how the Chinese and the Russians are relentlessly improving their space capabilities.

"trip around the moon"

He's not gonna land on it and take a walk? This was accomplished by U.S. astronauts 49 years ago. With all the staggering technological advances since then Musk can't land this guy on the moon? Just fly around it? Sheesh...

Seriously though, this is a step foward in commercial space travel. And even in 2023 this will be risky, so Maekawa has guts to be just the 24th human to actually leave Earth orbit.

"He should have spent his money on women, women, women, and wine. Not on a one way ticket around the moon."

Hey, there's a good chance he'll return to Earth and spend more loads on women, women, women and wine and maybe even For Relaxing Times Make It Suntory Times, lol.

Posted in: When Moon meets Kim: Can roads pave way to denuclearization? See in context

@elephant200 I don't know where to start... Without nuclear weapons means death for North Korea??? It's quite the opposite. If they have not made substantial progress on denuking by the end of Trump's first term, it WILL be fire and fury, and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before.

And let's not forget the North Koreans have the ability to turn Seoul into a sea of flames even without nukes.

I think Kim is smart enough to denuke by the end of Trump's first term. We'll see what happens.

Let me get this straight - ( assuming Ford is not lying )

A 17 year old boy made a sexual advance at a girl at a party!? And he was unsuccessful? Omg! And he didn't rape her, and it wasnt classified as a sexual assault? You mean it was a regular old strikeout? Omg better burn him at the stake 36 years later. ...

Posted in: Woman accusing Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct comes forward See in context

"But as someone who will likely decide on Roe vs Wade, this allegation of improper conduct toward a woman should be taken seriously and given the appropriate review, no matter how long it takes."

Good grief, putting aside the fact that this woman didn't make this allegation against Kavanaugh for 36 years, until just before he is to be confirmed as a Supreme Court justice, making it doubtful she is telling the truth, even if he did what she said she did, he was 17 years old, a minor. The guy is 53 now and eminently qualified for the job. He said he didn't do what she claims. I'll take his word over hers.

"Can roads pave way to denuclearization?"

Yes. Kim's said he wants to denuke during Trump's first term. That would be a smart move. Like Trump said, we'll see what happens. Fire, fury and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before is a last result but still an option that the N Koreans are now keenly aware of.

"Actually, the issue was resolved toward the end of WWII, when Russia reclaimed its territory."

According to Russia. You can't look at a map and tell me that Kunashiri and the Habomai Islands are Russian islands. They're within a few kilometers of Hokkaido, which Russia would probably have taken as well, if not for the American Occupation after WW2.

Oh, well then, since the first referendum was close, and a slew of non-whites have entered the country and obtained voting rights since then, Brexit would definitely lose a second referendum.

I met a Japanese guy whose mother was black, and he looked way more black than Japanese with an afro and he couldn't speak a word of English. Omg, this looks too scrumptious.

"Naturally, you'll want to be sure to start with flavorful blueberries. Usually, that's a given during blueberry season, but just to be safe, ask someone at the market if you might taste a berry or two before making your purchase."

I'm pretty sure if I asked they would say no at my local supermarket, but they don't have fresh blueberries right now so I used frozen.

I just mixed all the ingredients together, put it in paper baking cups and threw 'em in the toaster oven. Turned out pretty darn tootin' well! I recommend two scoops of ice cream with each serving, haha
