Americans love Japan. This administration needs to show a little more respect to Japan, though.
Exactly this! Idk why people are downvoting this Fact. Japan Treats the US/US citizens way worse than how we treat them.

I think If the Olympics were held in America, and they said Olympics are for Americans only. There would be so much backlash that they wouldn't even consider making that an option. But Japan think it's okay if they do it.

Didn't they do this for 2020 too? I heard from some people they didn't get a refund. Now they're still not giving refunds. So pretty much there was 2 "Olympics" and they got mad cash from both of those. They really be scamming

just cancel all olympics....at least for one year or so...
They can't Postpone it for another year so if they stop it this year, it'll have to be cancelled until 2032 and I don't think Japan wants that.

Hot take, but I think they should just Lift the lockdown. It's literally doing nothing besides screwing over people with visas that's trying to get into the country. It's not even a "lockdown" to begin with. They act like covid only roams after 8 pm. Not even just that, but Some Restaurants don't even close after 8. They don't enforce the lockdown.
