Fast food should be taxed like smokes and liquor, cuz it does nothing but add to the health bill that we all pay for.

the whole premise of the show is that the host changes every time and here we are with the same two "comedians" (read: jokes) we can see on every other freakin show on TV?!?

haha, u flag wavers out there who say that the US is all about freedom of speech, i call b s!

"call it as they see it"--yeah, right, when someone says something even remotely negative towards the troops, or about 9/11, or about christianity, the lynch mobs come out. there are practically gag orders on famous people when it comes to speaking out about what really happened on 9/11 and the "war on terror"

yes, u are right, the japanese dont bash politicians or create skits exploiting the misfortunes of famous people, but dont hide behind the assumption that everything is so right in the US. freedom of speech in the states is a farce.

dont bother changing! why is it that there are constant efforts to imitate things from the US??? stay original, and stay true to what works for your audience.

Posted in: Bin Laden's sons say U.S. broke international law by killing their father See in context

no, kaptain, the us doesnt have the power to go into sovereign countries and attack whom it pleases without the proper authorities being notified! maybe in your own little american world and way of brainwashed thinking, but the geneva conventions clearly state that this is unlawful!

this is the pot calling the kettle black. both sides are as extreme as the other. both equally feel they are right for reasons that their leaders feed them healthy doses of every chance they get.

thats why this conflict will never get resolved. wow, congrats america, you got your man. hooray, party in the streets. its just another way for your govt to continue their ongoing war on anything they deem un-american. which seems like a lot these days. well, good luck with that.

yeah, wolfpack, they got u thinking exactly what they want u to think. "a jihad against western values, blah, blah, blah, liberty and freedom"

not defending either side here. both are as extreme as the other. neither side will ever learn from what they do or what is done to them. equally at fault and equally responsible for ALL the deaths in the islamic and western "civilized" world

Posted in: Earthquake, tsunami drills may have been counter-productive See in context

even now, after all that has happened, at my elementary school which is on the eastern coast in shizuoka, they have revised their evac plan in the event of a tsunami to climb to the roof of the gym. albeit a change from going to the top floor of the school, it is still not sufficient to protect the children from a tsunami the size of the one in tohoku. large buildings on the coast stories high were either washed away or completely overrun by the water. also, with a mountain to the rear of the school, there is no telling how high a tsunami could reach. if i was a parent at this school i would be seriously worried and very angry that the school board has not made an adequate evac plan for my child. as i said, there is a mountain behind the school however no talk has ever been made about getting the kids to walk up the mountain in the event of a tsunami
