I live in Japan. K-pop is not so big in Japan anymore because, I think, the Japan-Korea relationship got REALLY bad in the past 2~3 years. I remember KARA and Girls Generation becoming a big hit and after that, many K-pop artists came to Japan. But tbh they all looked the same and soon most of them went back home. At the same time, Japan and Korea's relationship begun to worsen. A famous Korean town, Shin-okubo, used to be flooded with people who loves K-pop but now it's like "Where did they all go?". Although, hardcore K-pop fans are still alive in Japan, mostly on the internet and there are still many K-pop concerts going on in Japan.
