Nobody sits next to me on the train anyway, so depopulation will give me even more space.

Posted in: Japan Post unit admits to mismanaging 90,000 insurance policies See in context

These insurance policies pay so little in return. So hard to invest here in this country. I can lose my hard earned cash much more quickly in America.

"The average cost of a 50-square meter apartment in Tokyo, for example, is 129,727 yen, while the same living space in Aichi averages just 74,530 yen."

Many places in Kanagawa average about ¥55,000. I know because I own and rent them.

The Portugese in my town just hang out near the station and drink beer. Their wives get picked up by a van and sent to factories to work. He should have thought about staying with his buddies at the train station instead.

Tax is important and can be put to good use. However, do not tax food, education, medicine. It is a sin.

Posted in: Party leaders clash over tax, Constitution before upper house election See in context

So the logic here is that deflation is bad. But inflation is good? So, if there is more inflation and pension yearly increases do not keep up with it...um...then ¥22 million won't help either.

Although the American court systems often make mistakes, they are usually one on mistakes and not multiple. I believe in the American system of justice. If MJ was put on trial here, no matter what you may think, he would have been convicted...and as we know many convictions here are not correct.

Posted in: Empress emerita Michiko has cataract surgery on both eyes See in context

My first was extremely painful. They did not use enough of that spray to numb it correctly. My second one blinded me for a week. They severely scratched the cornea some how. Then the first one within a few months had what is called an after cataract and required laser surgery. A month later somehow a tear occurred on my retina and needed painful laser surgery for that. Besides chronic herpes in my eyes, I am doing great. I can see really well.
