It would have been more "sustainable" to make long-lasting wooden or steel beds and then sell them on the second-hand market, which is common in other countries but not so much in Japan. But then, Japan prefers to take the disposable, throw-away route over a truly sustainable one.

Well, that's incorrect. The cardboard beds are made out of carboard but it's 20 times stronger than wooden beds and 3 times stronger than steel beds. The aim of sustainability isn't to throw them away but to convert those beds into various paper items. Japan studied cardboard a lot and we use cardboard beds for use in shelters during disasters. Those beds used in disaster shelters can withstand a weight of 6 tonnes.

That certainly makes you wonder, does it? Then again 2020 was a lousy year for movies in the first place. Come to think of it, I can't recall when the last 'good movie year' truly was.

2018 was the best year for international movies in the last 20 years imo.

 I still can't imagine how that cliche-ridden piece of garbage 'Avatar' got all those awards and box office revenues like it did. Hell, I feel the same way about the 'Titanic'

Titane was a great movie and i loved watching it. It's a 8/10 for me. A hero and Drive my car were my 10/10 movies of cannes this year. Memoria was a fantastic movie too but the slow pace sometimes got onto my nerves while watching it. My worst movies of cannes were Flag Day and Emergency Declaration.

Actually, they got paid to upload them, they all even maintained English twitter pages right from the beginning regardless of whether they're popular or not while Japan didn't do that, right now, Jpop is also gaining popularity, in tik-tok and instagram reels, Jpop songs by Yoasobi etc are topping the charts and Yoasobi, king gnu, Kenshi Yonezu, eve, Zutomayo and others are gaining a Huge fanbase overseas.

Yes, I agree too. At Coachella in 2019, Perfume was featured in the best acts of Coachella lists while blackpink was featured in none. J-music industry is finally opening it's eyes tho. Johnny and Associates opened a twitter page in English last month (they're nowhere close to their Korean counterparts in marketing but they're atleast starting to try). Sony Music Japan's "The First Take" is a Huge Hit and and gaining fans from overseas.

Actually, Japan actually has this tech already. NEC is world leader in this. Japan isn't using it because it respects Privacy of it's citizens.
