Posted in: Trump political ad linking Democrats and immigrants to violent crime assailed as 'sickening,' racially divisive See in context

If you take away all the smoke from the fuming anger of the dems, you can see that these ads are true, to the point, and relevant.

Oh is the ad true, to the point, and relevant? The ad claims that “Democrats let him into our country," and that “Democrats let him stay.”

Here are some things are actually true.

1) Bracamontes was deported during the Clinton administration for drug offenses

2) Bracamontes returned and was deported in 2001 during the Bush administration

3) Bracamontes was right back in the U.S., one year later, still during the Bush administration, where he stayed for the remaing six years of Bush's presidency and five years under Obama's until he was apprehended after killing two deputies with an AR-15 in 2014.

Why doesn't the ad mention the AR-15 he used but more importantly:

Why did Republicans let him back in after he was deported twice??? Why did Republicans let him stay???

I don't think anyone (other than maybe pedophiles) is supporting pedophilia and/or sexual assault. They are just not willing to condemn Moore due to the fact that he is on their team, and they are not willing to condemn someone on Team Red.

There might also be something else at play here with Southern Evangelicals.

How in the world are they ever going to know the difference between what is "fake" and what isn't, when it comes to anything that comes from mouths of a politician here?

It's easy. Are their lips moving?

Travel ban ruled legit by the Supreme Court. Another win for President Trump.

LOL! The court decided that the ban cannot be applied to anyone with “a credible claim of a bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States."

So pretty much everyone who would have been banned still cannot be banned. But you go on ahead inside your bubble.

Posted in: Behind the Big Mac: McDonald's gets movie and literary spotlight See in context

There's an old McDonalds out in the country and the building has those same arches seen in this trailer. I was shocked coming across it many years ago. It even predates the buildings I went to as a kid 40 years ago. Must be from the 50s or 60s.

The first McDonald's in Japan opened in 1971 in Ginza.

What a great plug but I don't really consider Cirque du Soleil as a cultural event...more like entertainment.

Cultural: of or relating to the fine arts (such as music, theater, painting, etc.)

If you've ever seen a Cirque du Soleil show, it's hard to argue that it isn't a cultural event.

The court reopened and acquitted the case because the fire could have started spontaneously.

Not just that it could have started spontaneously but that they couldn't have started it either.

But, we can at least say the case is not based solely on confession.

No, we can't.

Your premise that someone had to start the fire is false to begin with.

The fire started from inside a locked garage attached to the house. Only the parents had the key to the garage.

Which is not evidence that they started the fire at all.

In my view, any unwelcome grabbing or groping of genitals is assault. I believe the law will back me up on that

The military that this Cheetoh-dusted buffoon wants to lead most certainly characterizes that as sexual assault.

Posted in: Trump calls accusers 'horrible horrible liars' See in context

Hey, keep singing that tune.

I don't need to sing any tune. Women have come forward to let everyone know that he does, in fact, commit sexual assault.

And if we learned anything from Bill Cosby, it's that we can be certain there are a whole lot more where they came from.

More and more filth coming out every day on the hopeful Creeper-In-Chief . . . like him walking in on Miss Teen USA pageant contestants--some as young as 15--while they were changing:

Mariah Billado, Miss Teen Vermont 1997 told BuzzFeed, "I remember putting on my dress really quick because I was like, 'Oh my god, there's a man in here.'" Three other teenage contestants from the same year confirmed the story."

Ivanka's response when Ms. Billado brought it to her attention?

"Yeah, he does that."

Of course, we already knew that he did the same thing to Miss USA contestants (because he personally bragged about that on Stern):

"He just came strolling right in," Dixon said. "There was no second to put a robe on or any sort of clothing or anything. Some girls were topless. Others girls were naked. Our first introduction to him was when we were at the dress rehearsal and half-naked changing into our bikinis."

Posted in: Trump calls accusers 'horrible horrible liars' See in context

You conveniently leave out that the claims he is talking about assault are being taken out of context, he obviously didn't mean assault,

What he was describing IS assault. It doesn't matter what it looked like in his mind.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Posted in: Trump calls accusers 'horrible horrible liars' See in context

So, all these accusations pop up within hours of each other, not even 24 hours apart, describing events that occurred years ago, and you're not even a little bit suspicious?

You conveniently leave out what happened right before these women came forward: Trump said that he has never sexually assaulted anyone during the presidential debate--after being caught on tape bragging about doing just that.

The real question you should be asking is why most women who are assaulted or harassed remain silent to begin with. And when you figure out the answer to that, ponder how that might be compounded by the fact that your attacker/harasser is wealthy, famous, or otherwise powerful.
