So many people hating on Ghosn! Japan had no evidence on him and they treated him as a criminal, yet there are other high profile bribe cases that just give out suspended sentences! The man fled Japan just as anyone else would do if they knew they were in trouble for doing nothing. They have ALL the evidence against these other cases but nothing came of it, yet for

On June 22, Yokohama City Hall received an email from someone believed to be Mizuno, stating, “I’m struggling to survive and plan on committing suicide.”

A clear example of one of the failed systems in Japan to take care of its citizens. He's basically implying that life is so hard (cost of living, lack of work for people at a certain age, lack of a welfare system) that he is seriously contemplating sue aside (I know how to spell it)

One of several Japanese officials charged in a widespread bribery scandal involving Tokyo Olympic organizers was found guilty Tuesday but avoided jail time.

I wonder what's the difference in the treatment of these CEOs in this case and that one that got away? Were they handcuffed?

Ghosn currently lives in Lebanon, where he fled after a dramatic 2019 escape from Japanese custody accomplished in part by hiding in an audio-equipment box.

Why was this part needed to be included in this article? Japan is that sore from the slap in the face that they would never let this down! Everyone in Japan knows of this whole story especially his escape route. Just let it go! France and Japanese authorities have bigger issues to deal with like the riots and how to deal with the upcoming summer of crazies!

I might be wrong, but there's a thing called.......I think its called a babysitter? Yeah, I think you pay them to watch your child while you go out and do your thing? I think that would've worked best in this case!

And the sad thing as I've seen is that these parents are just going to get a "stern talking to/warning" and the child is back in their care to do it again!

Which would the public think would be more do-able? This plan or.........whatever you wanna call that in the article?

Ito was quoted by police as saying he had been angry with Tominaga after she told him a week earlier that she wanted to end their relationship and then cut off contact with him.

She can chose who she wants to be with! This weak creep abused her in both ways and forced her to stay with him because he couldn't take the rejection!

Tominaga contacted police and said she was concerned Ito was stalking her. Police issued a verbal warning to Ito and asked his parents to keep an eye on him.

Let my daughter come home and tell me her ex was stalking her. Forget the police, I'm protecting mine! Because I know that whenever they tell the stalker (both male and females) to "stay away", its same as telling a 2 year old "Don't touch this cookie in front of you!" then leave the room! What's the first thing that kid is goting to do? Apply that to any stalker's "verbal warning" situation! Its so stupid! How many lives were lost because of this lack of firm action?

Posted in: Mother arrested over death of 8-month-old son in 2022 See in context

Arata and his sibling were classified as children requiring protection under the Child Welfare Law. Even before Arata’s birth, his mother was registered as an “expectant mother in need of extra support.”

The local Children’s Welfare Center had registered Arata as being in need of protection immediately after his birth.

With ALL THESE SIGNS, they still decided to send her home with the baby KNOWING the baby was being placed in clear and present danger. And they decide to stop in once a month and have a glance around AND a phone call, yet they deem it was ok to leave the kids there! This is what BOILS my blood about Japan! Its like letting a 2 year old roam freely around an open 12ft swimming pool with 7 survelience cameras and 8 people watching the cameras. Come on Japan! Do better for these innocent kids!

In an article where a name or nationality SHOULD be posted, it is completely omitted! I say it should be posted because in cases like these, its usually a foreigner, and in omitting their name or nationality is another way Japan tries to save itself from the continuous negative backlash when it comes to the treatment and handling of foreign nationals in their custody. Need I bring up how they deleted 700 plus hours of footage when it came to covering up the death of Wishma Sandamali?

Niino, who says he never once expressed an opinion in school, blames the Japanese educational system for turning out obedient workers who are unable to assert themselves.

This is so ture! In the schools, its always "Do as I say because I say! And whatever I say is right!!" Its always teacher-student teacher-student. The students have no personal opinions, expressive thoughts or ideas they can share. So theu go into the work industry seeing their bosses/managers at "The All-Say!"

Posted in: Man arrested for filming up 9-year-old girl’s skirt at train station See in context

I remember I was in Saigon in a market with my ex. And I saw an old American guy taking inappropriate pictures of a little girl no older than 4 years. Her mother was unpacking some stuff to sell and this creepo had a big professional zoom lens camere. This kid sat like most kids do while blissfully unaware of their surroundings when lost in a smartphone. She sat with her legs up on the chair and this creepo was taking pictures of her like that. (I don't wanna go into details) I went up to him and asked him "Why are you taking pictures of her underwear like that?" He said he gave her money some money and she said it was ok! I saw red and called him out and he got mad at me and started cussing and calling me names when I said I'll take his picture and go to the police! I explained to the mother what he was doing and she took her daughter to another part of the market. Themother came back and gave me a beautiful red T-shirt and thanked me! I can't stand a sicko peadophile!

Why is it that you never hear Japan explaining to the kids through storybooks or in the schools what Japan did that lead up to that event? Yes, we all acknowledge that this horrible action happened and ended/evaporated the lives of many innocent people. But remember, Japan, America didn't just spin the globe and put a finger on a country (in this case Japan) and decide "We're bored! Let's blow some shoit up!" Teach them about the real history!

The prosecutors said Hattori conceived the attack on the Keio Line train after seeing media reports about another knife attack on an Odakyu Electric Railway commuter train a few months earlier in which a man stabbed and slashed 10 passengers.

This is what I mentioned in another post! People see the glitz, glamour and media attention Japan gives these murderers and when someone says something like "I don't have any worth as a person." and sees all the attention people like Abe's killer, those clowns who contaminated the utensils and foods at the sushi restaurant and others, they want that attention too! So they'll copy what thay saw. This is why the media has to stop giving them so much attention by mentioning their name, their backstory, their history and all things that may entice others to copy!

He fled Japan in December 2019 for Lebanon where he has lived since.

And Japan still has a sore rump for his skillful departure!

Ghosn is wanted in Japan and France and has received three notices from Interpol based on arrest warrants from those countries. In France, he is facing a number of legal challenges, including tax evasion and alleged money laundering, fraud and misuse of company assets while at the helm of the Renault-Nissan alliance.

All with no proof or evidence only on hearsay from Japan! A case holier than religoius Swiss cheese.

Ghosn said it took him more than three years to file the lawsuit because he wanted it to be as solid as possible based on evidence, on facts, (and) on witnesses.” He added that “our intention is to win it, so in order to win it, it has to be substantiated by a lot of facts. That’s why it took a lot of time.”

This 1 man is more sensible and smarter than the "Japanese justice system".
