Posted in: Syria rebels win support from Britain, battle in Damascus See in context

The world saw what happened in Egypt. The same thing is happening in Syria. The results will be the same as in Egypt.

The West don't know who they are siding with and by providing supports for the rebels shows that the West wants Assad out and they want to help the rebel. That's the story of the West. Whose to say that 10-40 years from now the same thing would happened to the persons who the West is supporting now in overthrowing Assad.

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) says the State Department is sitting on $2.2 billion that should be spent on upgrading security at U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide, but the Obama administration will not spend the funds.

The liberal press went after Watergate and the Iran-Contra Affair. Both Presidents during those terms were Republicans. How come the liberal press is all silent about Benghazi?

It doesn't matter what Rice, Obama, Hillary, WH, or the CIA say anymore. What matters is what do the AQ thinks. The AQ is probably laughing at the country. The government lied and AQ knows that.

Robert DykesNov. 19, 2012 - 09:17AM JST : Skipbeat: that not a good reason. It took me one week to get used to the apple maps. I like the old maps better, but after a a few weeks of use i don't even notice the differnce. You believe too much of what you hear on the Internet!

It's a good enough reason for me. Everytime there is an upgrade it seems to mess up more. The upgrade to ios 6.0.1 requires at least 2.5 GB of available storage which I don't have. That means I would have to delete a lot of iTunes songs and videos. Maybe Apple should give the customers 5GB to 10GB free if they want us to update the ios.

The country is doing away with Christianity. The court will ruled that the nativity scene is offensive to others. A country that was founded on freedom of religious is now anti-Christianity.

WilliBNov. 18, 2012 - 06:01PM JST : Obama has already made it clear that his sympathy is with the Muslim Brotherhood. I only hope that Israel can survive the next 4 years.

At the Democrat convention 2012, the plateform have originally taken out God and Jerusalem. The plateform only included back God and Jerusalem after the Republicans critizied it. At the Democrat convention, the Democrats voted a majority of NOs 3x aginst God and Jerusalem. The majority of American Jews sides with the Democrat ideology.

My President Is Busy by THOMAS L. FRIEDMAN @ http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/11/opinion/sunday/friedman-president-obama-is-busy.html?ref=thomaslfriedman&_r=0

My answer to Israelis is this: You should be so lucky...You should be so lucky that the president feels he has the time, energy and political capital to spend wrestling with Bibi to forge a peace between Israelis and Palestinians. I don’t see it anytime soon. Obama has his marching orders from the American people: Focus on Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, not on Bethlehem, Palestine, and focus on getting us out of quagmires (Afghanistan) not into them (Syria). No, my Israeli friends, it’s much worse than you think: You’re home alone.

Hoshino Resorts argues that such practice, not to mention the segregation of staff and the need to invest capital in building a smoking area, has a negative effect on business, and one that they wish to avoid entirely by not employing smokers.

What about their clients/customers? Is this resort a no smoking place?

Phred SmithNov. 18, 2012 - 11:40AM JST : Jordan is the next nation to fall to the islamonazis leaving Israel exposed to attack from all flanks. It will soon be up to Obama to prevent this thing from escalating into a full scale war and possibly nuclear disaster.

The guy doesn't have that much power. If he did, then it shouldn't have happened in the first place. He is going to do nothing. Because he can't take sides against the Arab nations. The Arab Spring did away with rulers who kept the peace with Israel.

If Syrian and Jordan falls then the Middle East will be under the MB rule. That's called democracy??

This is going to be a big flop in the States because kids and adults prefer tablets/apps over Nintendo. Got nephews and they are not playing their Nintendo DS. Nintendo games are too expensive compare to free apps. Tablets and apps are here to stay and they are replacing Nintendo.

SushiSake3Nov. 10, 2012 - 09:32AM JST : The key difference between supporters and opponents of Obamacare is that opponents like yourself are all too quick to put money, costs and jobs ahead of human life. Obamacare supporters see through that and realize some things are worth paying for - human life being one of them. Which makes opponents seem cold-blooded and heartless, and supporters the ones who actually give a damn about their fellow human beings.Perhaps you need to think about this a little more.

In five years we will know the full impact of the ACA whether it is good or bad for the country. We can all revisit JT and see who is right and wrong.

Posted in: Why foreign policy holds the key to Obama’s second term See in context

FadamorNov. 10, 2012 - 04:17AM JST : I disagree. The Republicans were digging their heels in because they figured if they obstructed enough, Obama would be voted out and they could then "save" the country by enacting legislation that would remove the threat of the "fiscal cliff". Even with all that obstruction (or more likely BECAUSE of it), the voters thumbed their noses at the Republicans and Romney was bitterly defeated.

It wouldn't have matter if some else ran under the Republican other than Romney. Obama was going to win anyway because of minorities groups and the country being liberal. The country wants to stay liberal and not go back to being a conservative country. That's why Obama won. The deficit does not meant a thing to the majority of the people until it effects them personally with the exception of some conservatives.

Republicans and conservatives are going to be the minority in the country and the Republican Party failed to realized that. If they realized that the election result wouldn't have been a surprise.

Now the Republicans are going to have to cooperate with a Democrat in the White House because something as huge as this fiscal cliff is not something that can be weathered as a political gambit. At some point, politics have to take a back seat when the nation as a whole is being threatened economically. The downside: Obama will get most of the credit for solving the fiscal cliff crisis. The upside: There will still be a Republican party afterwards.

Obama and the Republicans have to work together on this because they have no choice in the matter. It comes down to compromise. Obama will have to compromise and the Republicans will have to compromise.
