Proof that famous people just keep on getting more famous no matter what they do, while any new talent languishes in obscurity.

Dogs might look dumb, but they're often smarter than people especially when it comes to survival.

If a guy feels the need to do something walking down the street he should stick to pocket billards. That way, at least he'll have a smile on his face.

Welcome to the stone age. Even the Romans banned Druidism, which carried out human sacrifices, 2000 years ago. It's about time Papua New Guinea caught up.

Posted in: Algeria: 32 militants, 23 hostages killed as standoff ends See in context

edojinJAN. 20, 2013 - 01:24PM JST As the terrorists lost all 32 of their members, guess their leaders outside the country will have second thoughts about trying such a thing again in Algeria.

I doubt it. These terrorists regard their lives as expendable for the cause. That's why they are called 'extremists'. They aren't fighting for gain, only for their 'cause'.

Posted in: Police to investigate former AKB48 singer's 'child porn' picture See in context

Blowing this out of proportion is going to do more damage to the child than the actual photo shoot. Come on people, the boy touched some breasts, he wasn't made to do any sexual acts. It was inappropriate, but I think it should have ended at removal from publication and perhaps a behind the scenes investigation into the people behind the photo shoot — not the media circus it has become.

Even the number of mass killings is going down, in spite of the media frenzy.

Wrong. From 1900 to 1965 there were 21 mass public killings but from 1966 to 2009 there were almost 120.

Posted in: Obama says gun tragedies must end See in context

Here comes Obama's gun-grab.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Believe it or not countries with a lot more freedom than the USA do have strict gun control. And guess what? You almost never hear about gun massacres in those countries.

Ishin is neck and neck with Minshu. With the far right as king maker Japan could indeed be well on its way to having a new Fascist regime. This is not good news at all.
