I am sure we will hear later in other story or in media.

When the Police interviewed the suspect they were told by the perp.

"I wanted to know what it felt like to kill someone since I was a kid." Speculation of course.

Japan needs to put more modern and frequent programs in place to help more of it citizens to recognize mental illness and to treat it as well. Japan you have a problem, this happens to frequently at stations and in the General Public.

If we look at your comments here, pretty even split.

Pretty even split.

What is interesting. Is how the department of Navy is running the punishment concept here.

People expelled for refusing the vaccine will receive a general honorable discharge, but could lose certain benefits or be forced to repay the cost of training and education in some cases, the statement said.

This is fair actually. My military spidy sense tells me bye bye GI money. And BHA? But were not going to hamper you life with a DD 256A A stands for ALL DONE! TOAST No ones going hire you.

And some money back for the Pentagon coffers..

Vice Admiral John Nowell, the chief of naval personnel, said the navy force has been hit with 164 coronavirus deaths since the pandemic began.

Does this include the Corps? Sad those service passed. RIP.

Open it all up. Allow the G.P. hospitals and medical companies. Medical universities, all these elites.

Let us open it up and put them to the test.

Or Japan will sink and suffer with no tourism. Japanese people are tired of this pandemic and so am I.

I am vaccinated and working on getting in the best shape of my life at 50.

That is it, 2 years in to this thing. I think at 3 year mark. Enough is enough. Time to face facts.

I do allot with airsoft and enjoy it very much with my co-workers. We have a little couse we have set up and do time trails all the time for a bit fun and competition.

We buy them new sell them trade them and its fun to have that with the guys. Matter of fact here in my town we have one the best shops in Japan.

All metal airsoft rifles and pistols are highly desired. But parts at costly in Japan to covert the plastic bits to metal. Its a racket actually buy the makers T.M. is the biggest offender, If I knew the parts he was trying to bring in I could say for sure he is not lying. I bet its a gun frame or an optic. Its one of the two.

Its is not possible to covert and airsoft gun into a real one. And it would be very dangerous!

3D printed guns are more of threat and undetectable as well. In Italy its the preferred weapon to do a hit.

Easily disposable and you do not have throw your Sig Saur in the Piave.

I bet this case gets dismissed.

Posted in: Philippines' Duterte will not cooperate with ICC drug war probe See in context

If Durtete is so such a murderous leader.

Break it down.

A majority of Filipinos support Duterte’s signature “war on drugs” in principle, they do not approve of the extrajudicial killings that have taken place (the government admits to 6,000 such killings since Duterte’s election, whereas human-rights organizations put the figure at more than 20,000). More generally, it’s not hard to find Filipinos, especially among the professional classes—journalists, lawyers, academics—and university students who see Duterte as a grave danger to their country’s democratic traditions and rule of law.

-Paradox-

But here’s the paradox: Despite all of that, despite the awkward fact that Duterte is the only elected president on the planet being investigated for crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court in The Hague, despite his insulting language about women, his attacks on the press, and his capo di tutti capi style of rule, despite his use of the country’s judicial machinery to prosecute political rivals, he enjoys the highest approval ratings of any Filipino leader at this stage of their term in office in recent history. In many ways, Duterte’s political success illustrates many of the reasons strongman and populist leaders the world over, including Donald Trump, are able to bypass crises or challenges that would torpedo a more typical politician.

“This is a man who admits to killing,” Marites Vitug, a prominent journalist and author, told me, a mixture of wonderment and resignation in her voice, “and yet he’s popular.”

Mic drop!

Posted in: Philippines' Duterte will not cooperate with ICC drug war probe See in context

Crash course Davao politics.

Rody. What should be do before launching the drug sweeps and elimination of Chinese Meth and the triads in here in the country.

Eliminate blow back and those nosy pesky agencies that probe into the Philippines' drug war about to launch,

And that what he did. His pattern is very predictable if you know his politics.

If you know anything at all about this man, all you have to do is look at what he did in Davao. How he cleaned it up. By instilling fear/punishment and death. Do not think for a moment that this man does not love his country and his country man and the children. This man has a serious distain for illegal drugs and that comes with it. He is a staunch Catholic as well. He will stop at nothing to protect the youth and the innocent from falling into the drug trap in the country.

Were civil right abused? Were users, pushers, killed? Yes, they were shot down in cold blood and the shooter got a bonus for it. Hits done far and wide, on Scooters in tandem, Dirty cops and politics were amongst the ones killed mayors and families. Clean cops and hit men pulling triggers. I know this man said on many occasions, Deal and die! That is it. Your in drug game. Your taking your life in you own hands.

Its one of those things. History will judge

Is he a Hero? Is he a Monster? In this time and age we struggle to hold on to what's right and what's wrong.

Black and white, Left and right. But he works with in the grey area.

This man only thinks what best for the youth and the health of his country.

The people of the Philippians and history will judge him. Govern by the gun/ Die by the gun.

That is just P.I.

But in short he eliminated the possibility of blow back by leaving certain accords. That is was smart if want to win a war and fight dirty.

It is what is. Its a dirty fight there on the war on drugs and the power.

And my family is all the safer for it.

Thank you Digong! Salamat.

Say no to drugs! Especially man made ones.

One love!

This vessel being here is just one facet of the story. This is a good thing. British naval officers are very clever.

Britain's “commitment to strengthen our diplomatic, economic and security ties in the Indo-Pacific.” He said it will take ties between Japan and Britain “to a whole new level.”

Posted in: 20 years of 'forever' wars have left a toll on U.S. veterans returning to the question: 'Did you kill?' See in context

There was no real need for America to go to war against Iraq and Afghanistan. Nothing was achieved.

Really? Where you there? No reason? No need? When were boots on the ground?

I and other Marines achieved great things and personal and professional level, done selflessly in our actions for families and children of the middle East including the Afghan people. Who have suffered under a radicalized view of the Koran and Islamic state rule and law that absolutely barbaric. Momentous tasks as well great deeds. were done all over the Middle East. Futures were brightened and built on the spilt blood including my own blood and those of my Marines and many (others). You go into war daily with a sense of duty honor knowing this day could be your last. But if I can help one person. One family. Take one player off the field. Full well knowing your working to make life better for someone somewhere who has never felt freedom once in their life. Even if costs you your life. I am going down doing what I love. Helping other on a humanitarian level. Every day. A chance to push back the oppression of radical Islamic terrorist's. I find your comment offensive and ill advised. Never boots on the ground in the middle eastern dust have you? That dust that smell haunts those burning oil rigs my haunt my dreams and sleep sometimes.

That biting dust. That smell. It wasn't for nothing.

If anyone who believes nothing good or beneficiary was achieved in any war fought by Nato, or her Allies and the Untied States in the middle east. I say to you. Give me 30 minutes of your time in my theater room and let me change your mind. What you may see. It may change the way you view the current climate.

Yes mistakes were made. But to say nothing good came out of the operations run in Afghanistan or any Middle Eastern war. I will say with a firm tone and voice of conviction with anyone eye to eye.

You are dead wrong! Dead wrong!

The United States Naval Academy taught me to be more than just a tool of mayhem and war and death on the ground or above. Honor, duty commitment. The furthering of Democracy and freedom. The ability to help those who can not help themselves.

The job of Armed forces is not just to fight wars and kill kill kill. Bullocks!

Semper Fi.

It has deep meaning.

Leadership traits identified by the Corps as the embodiment of a Marine are: justice, judgment, dependability, integrity, decisiveness, tact, initiative, endurance, bearing, unselfishness, courage, knowledge, loyalty and enthusiasm. NOT taking life on whim.

I am not one to mince words. So, I am going to get right too it. And keep the politics out of it.

On September 11th 2001, nearly 3,000 people were killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The United States believed that Osama Bin Laden - who was the head of al-Qaeda - was the man behind these attacks. I lost friends that day in those towers’ Japanese friends. I would have deployed willingly if asked but was winding down my commission. I had 6 month left when then President Busch started this campaign.

Before would get my exit out of the Corps.

August 31st JST this campaign ended today and goes in too a diplomatic approach and phase.

IISIL/ISIS and the Taliban can have a go at each other. Go for it! No love loss between these two groups.

But I feel compelled to share with you, my thoughts as a vet in this war on terror.

And really the only the one thing I wish to convey.

Gratitude. -

Many gave their life in the hopes making the world a safer place. Speaking with Marines everyday those years back. One things sticks out above all. Wanting to go was forged in payback for 911. But left with the feeling we were not doing enough. On a general consensuses. When talking to these Afghanistan veterans. These people really wanted to make the world a better place. Its easy for us to sit behind our alias and key board and try to forge our beliefs on the readers here.

Those who perished and gave up everything.

Gone but not ever ever forgotten.

Job well done.

Semper Fi. Rah!

Honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice please.

Posted in: Illegal amounts of overtime going on at 37% of Japanese companies in government inspections See in context

I am in the over working boat. (1000 percent) Always have been

I get maybe 4 to 5 days off a month. Work starts 9:00 am sometimes runs to 8:00 pm or even later.

This is what is required. Even if I report the company. The only thing that will happen is. I will irritate the board and the CEO. I am expected to work as our Japanese co-parts. And for me it would even be a more volatile situation as a I carry the title GM (Jomu). I am supposed to push that narrative. Work first everything else in your life second. I have often thought of a case where a certain English school chain a National one in Japan got a Union involved and scores of payouts in over time where handed out too its Japanese staff but (NOT) the foreign teacher. Thats right. No payouts for them. Just no over working. Its a National case that can be easily discovered with some digging.

Being I am the only foreign staff here. I think the blow back for me would be quite severe. There is already a power harassment culture here from the CEO when employees fail to execute the position your in flawlessly or without fail to meet sales quotas and every aspect of your job and more.

Also, I have been denied my right to take yuku after years of dedication and loyal work. It seems my bosses can not imagine a day without me here moving metal for the company by their side. I am in my twenty second year with perfect attendance last 5 years which is never easy at my age. (50).

As an Italian American growing up in the height of the American Italian Mafia in NY/Boston. I always think to myself of the oath of Omerta those new rook Mafiosi would take for Gotti or Big Paul, The Chin, others. It would be said are you must willing to put your own blood family on hold. Even if your Mother is dying if the boss calls you must go. That the family must come first. I am being a bit dramatic. I apologize, but when these articles here on JT surface it strikes a nerve to here all the good things the Labor standards act over site wants to implement and achieve. What a joke!

The family ( my company )

Omerta. (No paper contract) you agree at this level where I am on a bow and spoken Japanese that the company comes first. Preform "働き, はたらき" & "あなたの働きに応じて賃金が支払われる"。I am made to say in our shaze in board meetings. (as this saint burns in your hands) During the Monthly Chore.

Company wide meetings. These are not complaints, Its just the way of life at this point. It just motivated me to make an alternate plan. The big exit without notice out of Japan. Just be done one day and soon at that. But be close enough to come back to file for nenkin in two years.

There is no big pot of gold in Japan when your done working here. Get an exit plan. Stack money.

I do miss the days of the simplicity of being an ALT.
