JC's son got only 6 months in jail for a drug offense that should have kept in in jail for a lot longer or even maybe a death sentence....

Might have something to do with why he's so cosy with the commies.

I don't care either way, I love his movies -

Really sad news. Feel so sorry for everyone involved.

Roads are dangerous and accidents do happen - 40% of all accidents occure at intersections -

This accident should (will most probably) lead to changes in kindergarten policy.

Why were there only 3 teachers guiding so many little children on such a busy road? I have 2 children ( a hand for each child ) so I can't imagine how the teachers can comfortably care for 4-5 children when out walking.

Most Kindergartens have minibuses. If they had one, why wasn't it used ?

The people who say that it'll be better in the long run are the same ones that said Brexit will be easy, negotiating with the EU will be a piece of cake -

Jizmo is right. There's no way to know what's going to happen

Ripoff artist Japan at it again

I got into an argument with wifey about the song YMCA the other day. She was convinced that it was written by a Japanese dude.

Posted in: Crushing workload at schools is causing more Japanese teachers to suffer chronic depression See in context

Perhaps the unrelenting workload is a result of Japan’s declining birth rate as the country simply does not have enough hands to take up the educator’s mantle, which means a ton of responsibilities being dumped onto Japanese teachers every day.

Or perhaps not.

Wouldn't a declining birthrate lead to less teachers and .... less children / students?

Most disasters happen because of various things that go wrong at the time, though.

On top of that, you can't be messing around when it comes to people's lives.

Agent, I remember almost nothing from any school book that I read 20 years ago.

The internet in Japan is not censured so people are able to read up on Japan's dark history there.

People need to read up on history before commenting on topic.

I think this shows that japan can apologize for past aggression but other parties have to show that it's not one-sided
