The Japanese government is the 'black hand' sponsering that rightist movement of glorifying war aggressions and the 'misconduct of Japanese military services! Kamikaze is something that even the Nazi SS couldnt have imagined! Praying for peace? Very doubtful indeed! Was that a civilized manner of war conducts and a rational 'rule of engagement' to encourage those 'naive youngmen' to carry out these pointless attacks that will causing harms to others and their own! Those mothers of Kamikaze pilots were the ones who suffered most while their sons killing people and killing their own in a savage manner! That was the motto of Japanese military. And these wear conducts is what the Abe administration is encouraging at present hostilities in east asia! Well, Japan under Abe's rule has lost her mind already.

For Japan it is definately not a good thing especially her security if the 'Najian massacre' denial continues to drag on and on .... The sino-Japanese war happened during the KMT-era when Generalissmo Chiang Kai-Shek running China. For the Chinese communist government, they hates Chiang as well but if Japan keep that denials is adding ammunitions for Chinese government's political campaign against Japan and will resulting an a castastropic consequenes. The Chinese government has nothing to lose what they really happy is Japan's repeat denials, there is Japan's weakness and she is fearing!

Posted in: Rodman offers to take jailed American's place in N Korea See in context

Kenneth Bae went to North Korea at his own risk and he understood that his religious mission might lead to imprisonment but still he choose to go there alone, he was not kidnapped by the North Korean agents, so why blame Mr Rodman? Was that his faults?

Posted in: Biden spent hour on phone asking Abe not to visit Yasukuni shrine See in context

The Chinese government and the ROK government will just step up their attacks over Mr Abe's visit of Yasukuni shrine in the coming future. Whether they have a 'Good point' doesnt matter anyway! Because this is a power struggle not a public debate! They were struggling to shove Japan in a corner losing world's sympathy. The more stubborn of Abe's behaviour is the more attacks will coming! Blashing a country in the United Nation is a very serious matter. It seems they were winning this struggle and gained much momentum after his defying Biden's 1 hour friendly advice! This is what Mr Abe has failed to realize.

Perhaps China should elaborate more about the political connection betweeen Shinzo Abe and his great uncle "Nobusuke Kishi", especially his role of exploiting Chinese forced labor during the Japanese occupation of Manchuko! That will make the world more realizing the depth of evils in this Yasukuni Shrine!

Posted in: Biden spent hour on phone asking Abe not to visit Yasukuni shrine See in context

Mr Abe's rejection of the good will advices from Mr Biden is giving stronger arguments for China and ROK to step up their attacks on Japan over world forum! Pretty not a wise move for Mr Abe!

most of those soldiers who died were brain washed into fighting and had no choice anyway

NO! This is absolutely not true, those Japanese soldiers were fanatic die hard killing machines and they choose to chant that 'Mansei' slogans during their charges! They were not 'No choice anyway' and their killing of civilians has indicated their no conducts and criminal motivated! But i agree both China and ROK has no idea of nuttin. That was totally not necessary!

I have never seen any US Veteran statesmen or current Commander of US sevennth fleet has ever gained any respect from the PRC. Because their servicemen/women 's lives count on Chinese government's will of how much honourable as if they were deserved! At least the 38th parallel, the Taiwan strait and the south China sea is a matter of PRC's policy and that matters many American's lives! If Mr Baucus talks tenderly will help the peace in Asia otherwise with the attitude like Mr McCain's reckless encounter with Putin if he is going to do to PRC, is a total castastrophy!

Regional tensions are proving a headache for the United States, which is wary of being drawn into any conflict that might erupt between treaty ally Japan and China, one of its biggest trading partners.

No, this is definately a wrong expression! The one who instigated the tension in east Asia is the United States, the policy of 'Returning Asia' is a plot intended to wage hostilities at PRC! America's defeats in Iraq and Afghanistan needs a scapegoat to blame or justification! Obama was pissed off when his first trip to China in 2009 when he was demanding money from Chinese leader! He is coming back with a gun just like a bank robbery ! No wonder China has stepped up efforts to test advance stragetic weapons capable to reach the western hemisphere. When you dont know who is 'kicking your door at midnight', will you ignore those bangings or goto grab a gun to protect your families?

The ADIZ is just not enough for protecting China's ecurity, they should doing alot more to concern Japanese nuclear ambitious, Abe is a very dangerous man who talked war in world stage! He has his stakes of kicking out a castastropic conflict in asia! There is a nuclear reprocessing plant in the village of Rokkasho in the prefecture of Aomori at the northern tip of Honshu, Japan's largest island. Capable of putting out 9 tons of weapons-grade plutonium and 800 tons of uranium a year, it is due to complete active tests — the last stage before it starts commercial operation. Once at full capacity, the plant will be able to provide enough plutonium for 2,000 nuclear weapons.

The Dec. 5 incident involving USS Cowpens and a Chinese naval ship was “unnecessary,”

No that was totally necessary! The Soviets ram their frigate at US crusier back in 1988/89 in Black Sea to expel US naval intimidation. Now China has done without a scratch so they were very 'Professional' at expelling unwelcome guest!

Didnt they were seperated since the 1895 Shimonoseki treaty! They were no more friends no more neighbours anymore! Oh sorry Japan does not need any asian countries anyway! I do believe the echoes of world war1 does exist today between the peoples republic of China and Japan. Because that was a debt has to pay A fact that shall no more to be 'ignored'!
