Posted in: Biden, Xi clash on Taiwan but try to manage differences See in context

This is a make belief comment: Suppose the communist country United States of America is called China. And, China the democratic country is called the United States of America. And Taiwan is an island off the coast of the U.S.A. that wants to be an independent country. But, the U.S.A. claims it is American territory and threatens to take it by force. Would China send its Army, Navy and Airforce across the Pacific Ocean to fight the U.S.A, to save Taiwan? I think China would rather mind its own business.

During rush hour in London, when the sliding doors cannot close, an official will stand with his back to the doors to push the crowd of passengers bavck into the carraige so the doors could close.

If this is the same situation in the Tokio metro, Yuda can truthfully claim that he did not grope the girl next to him but his body could have been pushed against her body by the other passengers in the carraige packed like sardines in a tin.

Mikhail Galuzin the (outgoing) Russian Ambassador to Japan has the cheekiest of cheek to blame Japan for the worsening situation between their two countries. Mr Galuzin must have suffered a memory loss of the calemdar since 26th day of February, 2022. He thinks nothing has happened from that day till today 11th November. When he returns to Moscow, will Mr Galuzin please remind his Prime Minister that tday is Armistice Day the day the First World War ended. And will he gently advise his Prime Minister to clear the hell out of Ukraine & Crimea and, between Japan and Russia, there will be the best of relations.

News about the serious illness of an important individual will give publicity to the illness and save many lives! Do we not care for the feelings of an emperor who may have a serious illness because news about his illness is publicised in a widely read newspaper such as Japan Today? It s the duty of the medical profession to publicise and educate and remind the public on health to save lives.

I think that Vladimir Putin's sudden refusal to attend Indonesia's invitation to Bali is: 1. His pariah standing in the world due to his special military action against Ukraine. 2. His loss of face due to Russia's failure to conquer Ukraine after almost a year of war. 3. His fear for his personal safety in a Muslim country so far away from Russia.

Have Japanese children been drinking their favourite candy for a hundred and fourteen years? In countries all over the world, non-liquid candy is packed in small, square, or round, or rectangle pieces packed in waxed coloured paper or tin foil. Has Japan's favourite candy company been packing Japan's favourite candy in a small, tall, slim tin with a small round opening at the top left corner for a hundred and fourteen years ? Once when the volume increased, I phoned and told the mother, "Do you know crimes have been commited... !?" In the early morning my door bell rang and I opened my door to two policemen who warned me to stop threatening my neighbour.

Smoke from smokers is not unpleasant.

Smoke from smokers is horrid. It is kills the smoker. Slowly.

It kills others near him. Slowly.

It kills unborn babies in the womb. Quickly.

It is evil. Cigarette manufacturers should stop

manufacturing cigarettes and switch to manufacturing

Without air we die. Breathing fresh untainted air we become more alive. Living in cities, we must put up with cancer inducing air from traffic exhausts. In the very early morning the air can be relatively fresh.

But no one living in a city can be free from poisonous air. Smokers

help the cancer-causing city air to be more poisonous and they get lung cancer quickly. Young girls who smoke become smoking mothers and smoking during pregnancy fills the unborn babies lungs with cancer causing air. Smoking is bad. Smoking is evil.
