Posted in: Abe's ratings slip amid doubts over his security policy See in context

PRIME MINISTER ABE is just following the lead of his Guide, America, led by a NOBEL PEACE PRIZE winner, and the First Black American President, the Honorable President Barak Hussein Obama... who has Japan's best interests at heart. When President Obama tells Mr. Abe to... FIGHT -- fight on evermore! -- Abe will be able (using young Japanese soldiers) to Fight On, Fight On to Victory Evermore! Fight! Fight!... so there will be more War Dead at Yasukuni Shrine to honor, evermore.

Posted in: Why it's hard for Abe to apologize for WWII See in context

Japan should NOT need to apologize -- and keep on apologizing! -- for its heinous war crimes, she says. What about Japan's partner's (Germany) constant apologizing for its WWII crimes toward the Jews? Well, THAT's different, she says...

Posted in: Too haute to handle? French cuisine hard to swallow in China See in context

“The first time I experienced French cuisine I held my fork in my right hand, until a friend told me to switch,” confided Fan Yuejiao, who works for Yueshichina, a gourmet Internet site. “I felt a bit awkward.”

WTF !? If you want to hold the fork in your right hand, then... you should hold your fork in your right hand. Just sayin'...

Posted in: How come Japan has never demanded an official apology from any U.S. government for the dropping of atomic bombs on two of its cities? In fact, why don't Japanese hate America for dropping the bombs? See in context

It would take the GREATEST OF CHUTZPAH for Japan to demand an apology for America dropping the atomic bombs to end the war Japan started. The Japanese were responsible for the deaths of Tens of Millions of Asians and Allied Soldiers... which is why No One has ever thought about asking America to apologize. Apologize? Hah!

Posted in: Abe: Japan won't join U.S.-led military operation against IS See in context

Is Abe a... coward? Why is he appearing to be backing down from his oft stated desire to take off Japan's military shackles, freeing Japan to again take its rightful place on the world stage as a Power to be reckoned with? The time is now -- it is right now, in the midst of this crisis, with Obama urging him on -- that Abe has the Golden Opportunity to step forward and take Bold Action to show Japan's true colors! Show the colors, Abe!

But Abe... retreats. Does this mean that Abe might also start toning down his very necessarily provocative statements and actions against China and Korea, both of whom Japan just about trounced in WWII -- and would have, were it not for Japan's terrible misstep of bombing Pearl Harbor too early, thus drawing America into the war too early? Or... could it be that Abe is NOT retreating, but, following the strategies of the Old Master, he is, in fact, attacking from another direction? Wily old man, Abe is...

Posted in: Echoes of WWI battle in China resonate over Japan ties See in context

People say, "Don't hold grudges!!" But should you forget? As the esteemed philosopher, Santayana, said, "Those who fail to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them." And as the famed Chief Joseph of Nez Perce Indians commented on how to deal with the White Man; " White Man fool Indian first time, shame on White Man. White Man fool Indian second time, shame on Indian!" I think the Chinese have learned the lessons of history and understand that they shouldn't fool themselves into discounting the long history of Japanese aggression against China (and Korea). Be ready. Beware. They're all around.

Clearly, as all the commenters here decry, he IS disgusting! But, uh... if he truly is successful in picking up Japanese girls this way, doesn't it mean he is NOT disgusting to those girls who get picked up? I mean, if they didn't like the way he is going about this, he wouldn't be successful, right? And if they didn't like it A LOT, then he would be nursing some serious wounds, wouldn't he? If not from the girls alone, then from their brothers, male friends, fathers... you know what I mean. So... what does this mean?
