It is hard to imagine being driven to a point where stabbing someone and trying to set them alight is an option, but there are better ways to deal with situations. I wonder if the wife will ever talk.

With the number of scams increasing all the time, it is surprising that he didn't double check before paying. Although, often in Japan, people pay money without questioning first. Unfortunately, the scammers knew they had found easy money with this guy.

Surely this is not legal! It opens up so many doors for criminals or identity theft. Do we really need that?

It may curb the 'patients' who visit the hospital for conversational purposes. It is difficult though to get a balance between putting pressure on the younger generations and putting it those who are older.

A sad situation. The driver should have a least stopped and check. You also have to wonder why the day service allow a woman with dementia to walk home alone!

I have always wondered why people choose a Hummer in Japan. Many of the roads are way too narrow and you are just asking for trouble when you drive one here.

Bullying doesn't always have to be verbal. Can also be through isolation too. I have 3 children who go to a club outside school. Majority of other kids at the club come from the same school which is different from my children. The boys in the club, ignore my children. This can be just as bad as verbal bullying.

Road rage is never good, but I have seen some creative driving in Japan. It has ranged from driving well below the limit, to red light running and cutting across lanes sharply just to get to an off ramp (with no regard for traffic in the other lane). Parking on the side of the road on corners is also pretty common where I am. I often have a tight schedule and feel frustrated by the driving in my area. While not condoning road rage, I can see why it happens here.

The state of emergency is being lifted, and many stores restocked on masks so they are widely available now. Seems a little late to receive a government mask now.

I think accessing the ¥100,000 depends on your local administration. I recieved the application form and sent it off yesterday.
