Confronted with the reality that NATO is having pregnant Ukrainians fight at the front, @fallaffel's first comment is "Lol."

This conflict has dispelled several myths:

第一 NATO weapons are superior to Russian weapons.

第二 NATO fighting Russia to the last Ukrainian, was sarcasm.

第三 the old proverb "Scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds." isn't true.

Israeli forces, supported by a growing deployment of U.S. warships in the region,

Thankfully the US naval armada is hiding near Cyprus about 400km from the conflict area. Hezbollah has Russian Yakhont anti-ship missiles with a range of 300 kilometers. Each one worth US$ several 1000. In other words, a few US$ several 1000 missiles have rendered 10s of billions of US$ worth of warships obsolete.

IMO the US gov should have provided universal heath care in USA instead.

The Ukrainians to much fanfare took the village of Robortino in the south. It was a trap. Now they are surrounded on 3 sides and the Russians are letting reinforcements in but no one leaves. They told the Ukrainians the only option is surrender or death. Retreat isn't possible.

1.5% growth smashed expectations!!!! Holly Makarov! Tell the economics professors at 東大, 京大 and etc that Marx's basic analysis in Das Kapital was wrong.

But wait, that outstanding 1.5% growth may not last? Ok, better hold off on the lectures at 東大, 京大 and etc.

The material conditions have changed. As the Victor Orban of Hungary said last week, "in the last 18 months history has never witnessed such a sudden, dramatic shift in global power. A 5000 year-old civilization of 1.4 billion people has returned."

Russia is the face of the new order but China is the real power behind it.

I bring it up because of Japan. An entire generation has come and gone with the occupiers still in Japan. In the past I couldn't agree with but could understand the Japanese government. USA had the economic power. But not even that is true anymore. If the Japanese gov said today, "All US forces have one month to leave Japan. Japan is to be neutral. Will be friends with USA, China and Russia." what could USA do? Threaten to nuke Hiroshima? Maybe they would do that but if Japan made clear they would align with China if USA didn't pull it's forces out and STFU, USA wouldn't create a fuss for long.

Your bois get their asses kicked EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. BECAUSE of bad tactics, crap weapons and drunken leaders. And they know it.

And THATS why you’ll stay on your side of the line.

Because you’re cowards and you KNOW you’ll lose.

Badly.

Talk about “mental Gymnastics” lol.

Excellent! So no need to send more money and weapons to the Ukraine! No need to increase military spending. Let's spend it on health care instead. Something I'm sure American workers would appreciate more than anyone, especially Russians who have had state funded health care for over 100 years.

And they’re highly trained and backed by NATO.

The Ukrainian army, the 3rd which is being decimated right now is 100% trained, armed and paid by NATO.

Russian ships don’t float. Russian planes got fly. Russian tanks cremate their crews.

So bring it. Let’s see what kind of paper Tiger NATO is shall we?

The Russians won’t do it because they know the ass kicking they will get.

The mental gymnastics is really interesting. On the one hand, have to print money, i.e. tax the working class, to help the Ukraine because if Russia prevails, the conquest of NATO is next. But on the other "Russian ships don’t float. Russian planes got fly. Russian tanks cremate their crews."

Putin is dumb but he ain't that dumb...even without NATO Poland has a Western-armed, well-trained military that would walk right through Belarus and even head right for Moscow if it wanted....it would decimate Putin's weak, poorly trained bunch of conscripts and convicts...

Poland has a military not even half of Ukraine's pre-war military. Less than half the size, probably less than 1/4 the capability. Nazis might be.......Nazis but they aren't cowards. They are fanatical fighters. Far more formidable than any NATO army.

The Russians have so far destroyed 2 Ukrainian armies. The first was the most formidable armed with Soviet armor and NATO lighter weapons. The second was a mix of NATO and Soviet armor. The third which is proving to be the least effective, is entirely armed by NATO.

That why the Russians go nuclear in all their war games because of a catastrophic conventional defeat?

That's why the Russians say it's only possible for them to use nukes if used against Russia or an ally first or in the event of an invasion the state can't repel by other means.

US doctrine is that they can be used, "in the event of surprising military developments." i.e. whenever the crazed, failing fascists want.

I triple-dog dare you, you no-Air Force wannabe mercenaries.

NATO will devour you. And then it will belch and take a nap.

NATO is the military equivalent of US/EU economic power. Murderous and merciless but a paper tiger up against a peer enemy.

The IMF has revised Russian economic growth up for this year. From 0.7% to 2.5%. The Russians say it'll be at least 3%. As for the bandits and fascists of Anglo-American, French imperialism and German Nazism, USA might be able to squeeze out 1% growth by looting Europe. Which is merely hammering another nail into NATO's coffin. It won't be a surprise if Germany makes a clean break from NATO within a year. All US occupiers expelled from the country.

Then it will be Japan's turn to act.

It’s the second Russia-Africa summit since 2019. The number of heads of state attending shrank from 43 then to 17.

17 heads of state from a different continent? Pretty impressive power! USA could only get 1 (Columbia) from all of South and Central America.

Putin/Russia does not have enough grain to feed Africa.

Has more than enough to make up for the Ukrainian grain the fascists will no longer be able to export. When all the Ukraine is liberated, the state should mandate new crops be grown. Grain can be and is grown in Siberia. Use the fabled black earth for more fragile crops.

Including by The Associated Press and international humanitarian organizations

i.e. by a US-based lying propaganda outfit and by lying, US and Western European based propaganda outfits.

Putin did say the much-vaunted Western "wonder weapons" are inferior to their Soviet equivalents, let alone latest Russian equivalents but the British Challenger tanks are a different beast. The Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman, Mrs Zakharova, stated the ability of the British Challenger tanks to avoid combat is very impressive.

CNN article did in fact say collapse. Even yesterday

It was 100% blown up. The Russians released a video showing it. One can't see on the video due to the large flash blocking out the view buy before the flash, everything was normal. After it subsided, the dam was in the process of failing.

But the Russians are saying it wasn't completely destroyed. The foundations are intact despite the Nasty regime opening all the gates of the upstream dam. They don't have to rebuild it from scratch.

Latest video from the front from last night, Japan time.

Fewer videos of NATO tanks and APCs burning. They are by now largely destroyed. Ukrainians on the flanks of Bakhmut were sent to attack on foot. The result was predictable. The Russians released a video of the disturbing aftermath.

Another interesting video. A Ukrainian T 54 towing a German Leopard. The latter didn't appear to be damaged. Must have broken down.

It's a debacle bordering on a catastrophe for NATO. The Russians have unveiled another secret weapon. NATO MANPADS have been rendered almost ineffective by something the Russians are calling "The Tula Egg". The Russians choppers defended by "The Tula Egg" are making short work of the German tanks and American APCs.
