I believe that Number One on Koike's sign: "No Closed Spaces" would make better sense written as "No Close Spaces." In terms of a virus, there is no harm in "closed spaces." You know, as in this space is closed.

It is not uncommon to read an English language sign on a Japanese storefront informing a potential customer: "Sorry we are close." I always think, right, it would be more convenient if you were further away.

No, the caregiver did not overreact. Not only was she groped (i.e. sexually assaulted) but she was also drugged. This has nothing to do with "western morals." Such behavior is not okay in any civilized society.

Oh my goodness, the ignorance just abounds here. (Though not all are deceived.) Ghosn wildly misused company funds for his own personal gain. He wildly under reported his personal income and he even went so far as to submit his stock exchange losses to Nissan for remittance. I think this an excellent example of why white collar crime is essentially pooh-poohed in the West. Westerners just simply can't believe it. The evil Saikawa has to be behind it all. Sorry to burst your bubble but Ghosn is a crook.
