" Surely you mean 'white civilians'?"

No. I said "civilians ". Don't play the race card with me, cuz you'll lose, amigo.

" What positions does the SPLC take that would not be endorsed by a majority of Americans? (Or are a majority of Americans on the "far left?")"

I'd be glad to answer that, but since it doesn't relate to the Boston bombing, you'll just have to google it.

@CraigHick, pardon me, NEW Black Panthers... " When former Nation of Islam (NOI) minister Khalid Abdul Muhammad became the national chairman of the NBPP from the late 1990s until his death in 2001, the group attracted many breakaway members of the NOI. The NBPP is currently led by Malik Zulu Shabazz; it upholds Khalid Abdul Muhammad as the de facto father of the movement."

Though the "old " Black Panthers disavow the NBPP, is there much difference really?

As predominantly NOI members, they have an agenda to prove. Even the Southern Poverty Law Center, far left as they are, label NBPP as a hate group.

Posted in: 9-year-old boy run over, killed in Kanagawa See in context

When I was a child of 5 or so, I smashed into the fender or door of a car as I darted across the street. Lucky for me(and the driver as well), I bounced off the car. Also, the driver was a nurse, and a foot-patrolman witnessed the incident. The nurse drove me to the hospital, held by the patrolman, and only with a bruised leg. Common sense prevailed back then, no one was charged with a crime, and I lived and learned to be careful and look both ways.

I'm very sorry for this boy, his parent(s), and the driver. Parents, teach your children well.

The media spin machine is jumping on unbacked speculation that the attack could have been perpetrated by a right-winger without even a sliver of evidence, anything to paint anyone who opposes the far-left agenda with the same brush. As the investigators have clearly stated, they don't know and are searching for clues in the evidence. The same nonsensical hypothesis could be proposed against groups who have previously vowed violent acts such as: Al-Q and related, North Korea, Black Panthers, et al, any of which would revel in the death, injuries, and fear instilled on regular Americans. Postulating that rightwingers, who by and large are very patriotic, would attack other civilians is disingenuous at best.

The question is "Cui Bono?"

" “Someone knows who did this,” the FBI agent said."

That's a genius' observation.

An important note on the pressure cooker technique; the CIA taught it to the Afghans. Al-Q has claimed responsibility for attacks as long as several months after the fact, so it would be premature to rule out Al-Q or a splinter group just because they've yet to claim responsibility.

Very sadly for the good people of Boston and vicinity such an evil was visited upon them. In the days and weeks to come, an official version of the terrible events will surface. Perhaps some variety of extremist group(s) will come forward to lay claim. What is sure is that innocents have been victimized. Already, some extremists are celebrating, as evil people do when others die at the hands of such violence. Shame on the perpetrator (s) and supporters.

Scant details lead to jumped-to conclusions. Sure, there are lots of bad drivers, but the other day I saw a kid on a bike try to zip across the street well after the ped light had turned red and the car light had turned green. The kid(8~10) nearly got creamed by a truck that had to brake hard and swerve to avoid boy-blunder. What's more is that after the truck went on, the boy zipped across and nearly got hit by a different car coming the other way. Lots of dumb kids, too.

Smells of the London attack. Maybe too soon to tell, but doesn't ring domestic, IMO.

This was a well-planned, coordinated attack intended to maximize fear. Who would want to instill fear on the people of the US? Opportunists. Revenge-seekers.

" eah, yeah... or the alien-lizards, or the Communists... My God, Surf, they're going to kill us all! Pray to Baby Jesus for protection from the horrid United Nations...."

Believe in the cosmic spaghetti if you like. Ridicule doesn't disprove what the UN is doing openly. It's no X-Files episode. The text of the draft is available in your language (unless it's Klingon) and clearly violates US Constitution. But the current US "leaders" support the UN, and not the Constitution which they have all sworn to support and defend.
