Posted in: U.N. chief urges Russia to revive grain deal with Ukraine, warning 'the most vulnerable' will suffer See in context

With the sun setting rapidly on the American Empire (and praying they don't start a nuclear war), a lot of primarily American pseudo-leftists are calling it the most powerful empire in history.

In reality it's not even close! It's had a peer competitor for all of the Empire's existence (Russia) and another for most of it's existence (China). And now the former is rising again while the latter is, relatively speaking, going through the stratosphere. All this in only a little over 100 years. The great empires of the past like China, Macedon, Roma. Mongolia, even the Vikings lasted 100s or 1000s of years (China).

Nope, if nuclear war is avoided, the American Empire won't even be a footnote in history textbooks. If nuclear war can't be avoided, there will be no history.

Dear @2020hindsigts

Thanks for the link. It's really the damnedest of things when one actually follows the link and reads the article. You should try it some day.

“The decision by Russia to exit the Black Sea Grain Initiative is a stab [in] the back,” tweeted Abraham Korir Sing'Oei, a senior foreign ministry official from Kenya.

Then just after that: "Sing'Oei's was a solitary voice, however. Rather than reproaching Moscow, African leaders have remained largely silent."

So it comes down to who this guy is. A DuckDuckGo search lists him as "Minister for Diaspora affairs" and that he is on the payroll of the Western funded "Open Government Society".

This is a political move to stave off criticism of removing Ukrainian grain from the market. As expected, African countries are furious with Russia for not renewing the grain deal.

What Africans do seem to agree with is the statement by the Russians, right up to Putin himself, saying NATO is trying to prevent Russian grain and fertilizer going to poor countries. It would be a par for the course for US/NATO to do that. They've always been ruled by truly murderous fascists. It's just not the material conditions for them are so reduced, they can no longer conceal the fact.

Really? Got a link? Because the talk all over Twitter is how the Africans don't seem to care at all while Western Europeans are furious.

This is the agenda that the Russian propaganda is trying to push. Is it coincidental that your agenda is the same as Russia's, or coincidental?

But it is true?

The vast majority of the grain went to Western European pigs, not needy Africans. The Russians did however state that despite the efforts of NATO powers to prevent it, Russian grain would go to needy people mostly in Africa, free of charge.

There is almost no possibility of the deal being revived. The Russians are systematically destroying the infrastructure needed to move the grain. Not only in the Black Sea but also the river crossings across from Romania and Poland. If you are in Europe, stock up on pasta ASAP.

In other news, on the battle field more and more 16~18 year-old Ukrainian males along with females are dying. And now people with varying degrees of retardation are being mobilized.

The joke is on anyone who though NATO reps talking about fighting Russia to the last Ukrainian was just a figure of speech. Very evil people......

That sounds like a lot and would be a disaster for Ukraine.

sorry, but I don’t know what Telegram is.

https://twitter.com/konecna_romana/status/1682621175795417095?s=20

Telegram is an app which is hard to explain. It's kind of like Skype, Line, Twitter rolled into one but different. You can find it by searching for "Telegram download" and then you have to find channels you are interested in.

The video above probably won't be up for long. I suspect the only reason it's still up is because it's not English or Russian tweet.

If it was ht by the missile the Ukrainian regime claims hit, the church would no longer exist. Western regimes know full well it was hit by a stray Ukrainian air defense missile.

On the other hand, video has emerged from 2 days ago if an entire Ukrainian armored division surrendering to the Russians without firing a shot. 28 Leopard 2A4 tanks, 21 PT-91 tanks, 8 Krab guns and 30 T-72 tanks. Armored and mechanized units also use 1,098 BWP-1 infantry fighting vehicles. No count was given for the number of soldiers but from the video it seems about 1000.

Twitter is trying but at this point, not succeeding in censoring the video. Mostly because it's all over Telegram. If not for Telegram, probably the only Russian media would be able to share it but that is banned in all of Europe except Serbia. So lucky we live in "a free society" where one can practice "free speech".

On a brighter note, it's not all doom and gloom for NATO's "wonder weapons". The Russian foreign ministry issued a statement praising the British Challenger tanks, saying their ability to avoid combat is second to none.

Some months earlier the Russians poured scorn on the Leopard tanks. Saying they would be picked off with ease. They said the Bradley IFVs would also be destroyed but were a seriously formidable weapon. Liars! Last night (Japan time) another graveyard for Bradley IFV was formed near Rabotino. This one is even larger than the famous one made near Malaya Tokmachka in early June.

19 days into the offensive, they managed to hit, but far from a destroy, a bridge of very little to no importance whatsoever to the Russian military. meanwhile they've lost about 15 000men and 200 tanks for no gains at all. They've actually lose ground as the Russians are advancing in Kharkov oblast.

Yeah, right.

The truth can hurt but you should get used to it.

I quoted from this news report. The dam is 'on topic'.

Why don't you want to answer.? Who do you think was responsible for the Nordstream explosions?

-7 ( +6 / -13 )

Posted in: Ukraine says eight villages retaken from Russian forces See in context

And yet the AFU continue to control the village of Pyatikhatka. Kind of ruins the credibility of that report.

According to who? As of 5 hours ago, the surviving, not captured AFU were fleeing across fields on foot.

Off topic.

You brought up the dam. So I'm just wondering what the reason (in your grubby little mind) was for the Russians to blow up Nordstream as well.

-4 ( +7 / -11 )

Posted in: Ukraine says eight villages retaken from Russian forces See in context

What's the reason that you think that they did?

I missspoke. What was the reason you think the Russians blew up Nordstream?

I'm sure they didn't. It was the US regime. At least, the operation was managed by the US regime but Sy Hersch says the Norwegian AF triggered the explosions.

Posted in: Ukraine says eight villages retaken from Russian forces See in context

The AFU launched a massive attack on the village of Pyatikhatka. The Ossetian 19th division defending the village fell back. It was a trap. The Ossetians the counter attacked on the flanks, put the village in a semi circle and cut off the AFU inside the village. Many AFU killed or wounded and captured. Only a few made it out by abandoning heavy weapons and fleeing across fields on foot. The captured included a group of with British patches on their uniforms.

This all happened in Zaporozhye oblast which is the homeland of the Cossacks. Cossacks warned NATO mercenaries not to be taken captive because the Cossacks would not grant them any leniency! Not sure what the attitude of Ossetians toward NATO mercenaries is but I think it's safe to say if those captives were British mercenaries, they are in grave danger.

Posted in: Both sides suffer heavy casualties as Ukraine strikes back against Russia, UK assessment says See in context

The true state of the vaunted counteroffensive is in the corporate media if one reads between the lines. The UKs Telegraph is warning, "prepare for the counteroffensive to falter" and saying Germany and France can't be allowed to "go wobbly".

Pure propaganda without any links to back it up.

As reported by the BBC it is illegal in Russia to even say how many Russian troops have been killed.

Really? Whatever you say. I'm not interested in chasing up links for you when I agreed with your basic premise. I don't read or take seriously the BBC but I trust you know what you are talking about.

I'm just wondering if you feel those figures for respective losses are favorable for NATO and the AFU?

-7 ( +4 / -11 )

Posted in: Both sides suffer heavy casualties as Ukraine strikes back against Russia, UK assessment says See in context

According to a BBC investigation, more than 25,000 Russian troops have been killed in this war, and the figure is probably much higher.

https://www.rferl.org/a/russia-ukraine-troop-deaths-25000-mediazona-bbc/32453374.html

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/idt-829ea0ba-5b42-499b-ad40-6990f2c4e5d0

That corresponds pretty well with what the Russians are saying. 25000 Russians to over 350 000 AFU and NATO mercenaries. So about 14 to 1. Do you feel this is favorable for NATO and the AFU?

Good news and bad news for NATO.

Bad news is that the much-vaunted counteroffensive has been a debacle, bordering on catastrophe. It didn't even reach the first defensive line.

Scratch that! One of the highest ranking Ukrainians in NATO's Nasty regime came out last night and said the offensive wasn't actually the offensive, just probing attacks. So NATO sends its most formidable tanks and APCs en-masse for probing attacks....... Interesting.

Good news is that the refugee crisis in Europe is easing rapidly. There are so many Ukrainians entering Russia at the Latvian border crossing, humanitarian organizations have provided tents and makeshift markets have sprung up.

Yeah, right. Long range missiles can't blow up a dam.

Really? Well, that would be your little secret. Though you are right to an extent. It would take a very powerful bomb to completely destroy it. The Russians are saying the foundations of the structure is still intact and they won't have to build it again from scratch. Despite the Nasty regime opening up all 4 flood gates in the nearest upstream dam to coincide with the breaching of the dam. Trying to increase the pressure to further damage the dam but apparently it didn't work. At least not yet.

All the available evidence indicates that the Ukrainian / NATO counteroffensive has achieved little, if anything, while sustaining massive losses. The proxy war instigated by US / NATO has been a disaster. Was the plan to bring Ukraine into NATO worth 350,000+ Ukrainian lives, loss of US$ hegemony, massively rising poverty rates in the collective West, failing banks, energy insecurity, 2 environmental disasters (Nord Stream the first but no one knows who did that......... probably Russia.......) ? And of course, the myth of the superiority of Western armor going up in smoke in southern Zaporozhye.

Actually, Lukashenko said it.

He didn't. Borrell recently said it if the collective West stops arming and financing the Ukraine. That's probably accurate. Or 3 days might be too long.

Former US colonel Douglas McGregor said it's only a question of whether the collective West runs out of money or the Ukraine runs out of men first. The EU is officially in recession, the US is expected to follow very soon (while Russia is growing and that growth is picking up speed). While guys are literally being dragged off the streets in the Ukraine. So at this point, it seems like a close race.

Haven’t seen anything about calls for tactical nukes being delivered to Ukraine.

Posted in: Ukraine claims new gains in early phase of counteroffensive See in context

At the beginning of the war, Putin said it would all be over in three days.

No, he didn't. The only record of anyone saying that is USA, rainbow flag saluting general Milley. Senior NATO officials keep trying to make the Russians attack in a way NATO and the Russians keep ignoring them. I don't know why they bother.

The head of the Indian army wrote an interesting op-ed. He said NATO spent 8 years arming and training the Ukraine to defend against mass Russian armored columns looking to break through front lines and go deep into the country. He says the Russians basically flipped the chess board over rather than play and NATO had no back up plan.

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

Posted in: Ukraine claims new gains in early phase of counteroffensive See in context

Now US reporters in mainstream media (i.e. state) publications are calling for tactical nukes to be delivered to the Ukraine. From this we can can gather two things:

一: The Ukraine and NATO by extension is losing badly.

二: Capitalism is USA and the state of USA economic power is even more rotten than the general public understands.
