Having seen A television documentary on this a few years ago I cringe every time I see the balloons released at Japanese baseball games

Let's all blow up balloons mouth and spray the pathogens over 30,000 fans

I'm also thinking that he didn't buy the gun at a department store. The fact that they found a casing at the scene suggests that it was an automatic, which the Jaanese police do not carry. So basically stringent gun legislation didn't stop him.

Hell if women are not important enough or have status enough to attend ceremonies, why not bring back the concubine system, demote them to objects, sperm recepticles.

Well if you check your Japanese history there are 8 women who have acsended to the Christhanim Throne (2 of them having done it twice). So this is pure bull feces.

@daito_hac:

It's not a dictatorship, it's zaibatsu!

Corporate control of government

Nissan was named as a second tier zaibatsu at the end of WWII, the plan was to break up all the zaibatsu in Japan but along came the Korean War and the U.S.decided it needed a industrially strong Japan rather than one dependant on outside help.

They have no evidence, they need a confession. Japan is under the microscope in world opinion right now with no way out. They NEED a confession. And they are not going to get one.

Again I ask, have the Japanese never heard of house arrest, fit him with an ankle tracker and confine him to his home and general vicinity, it works in civilized countries, as to destroying evidence, he doesn't have any, if the Japanese police and prosecutors can't secure the evidence they have, they should all be fired.

They will convict him with no evidence of, give a suspected sentence and a fine and hope it all goes away in a year or so

Otherwise .. egg on a lot of faces.

If you take into account the 6 - 10 years of winter, the crop failures would be close to extinction level for humanity.

Posted in: Tsunami triggered by volcano kills at least 222 in Indonesia See in context

Volcanic events in present day Indonesia have a long history of global aftermaths.

Aside from the Boxing Day qake and tsunami that killed a quarter million and the 1883 Krakakau eruption, Mount Tambura erupted in 1816 (bigger than the Krakakau eruption) triggered a year without summer. Going farther back in history is the catastrophic explosion of Toba in central Sumatra (now a huge lake) about 70,000 years ago that triggered a 6 - 10 year winter that some scientists say actually bottle necked the human population.

Interesting reading if you are into that kind of stuff.

I agree with what most people are saying but makers usually recommend standing in the middle and holding onto the hand rail. They always do that for liability purposes.

But like most say here, not gonna happen.

If you read the manufacturer safety manual it says to stand, not walk on escalators. That should be good enough.
