@CH3CHO

Indeed hindsight is hindsight, however, what you say about the distance from the seashore is misleading. The school is on the Kitakami river, the mouth of which goes into Oppa Bay, only just over 2 km down stream. While it might not be normal for a tsunami to go 2 or 3 or 4 km inland from a coast, you should be more aware of the possibility for it to go inland along the course of a river. It will always do that.

If there is a tsunami warning, which there was, the first thing you should do is act. Don't overthink it. It is better to be embarrassed at nothing happening than be caught in a bad tsunami with a lot of school children in your care. Masato Chiba has not done a good job as a spokesman.

As Zichi has said the Stormy Daniels lawsuit against Cohen has been stopped for 90 days after Cohen had argued that any statement he made in court could affect a criminal inquiry in New York into his business affairs.

District Judge Otero in Los Angeles said there was "a large potential factual overlap" between the civil and criminal proceedings against Mr Cohen. He said that "would heavily implicate Mr Cohen's Fifth Amendment rights", in a reference to the Constitution's protection against self-incrimination.

Posted in: Trump says North Korea agreed to denuclearize. It hasn't See in context

As well as declaring a halt to nuclear and ICBM testing, Kim Jong-un made it clear that such steps were possible because his regime had completed work on building a viable nuclear deterrent.

According to the official account of the party plenary, he said that such testing was no longer necessary “given that the work for mounting nuclear warheads on ballistic rockets was finished as the whole processes of developing nuclear weapons were carried out in a scientific way and in regular sequence”. He said the North Korean arsenal, which he sees as a “powerful treasured sword for defending peace”, was an insurance policy for future generations: “a firm guarantee by which our descendants can enjoy the most dignified and happiest life in the world was provided.”

Kim presented the moratorium on testing as a contribution of a “world-level” power towards the global goal of a future free of nuclear weapons. In other words, he sees denuclearizing as something that has to be done by everybody, not just North Korea.

@robert maes

And that has what to do with this? If you had complained that English dubbing -- often terrible -- had done much to create a problem for people to learn Japanese in the context of this article, you would have been more accurate. Dragon Balls (whichever incarnation) is Japanese.
