Posted in: Japanese men take out 'groper insurance' against false accusations See in context

Japan is in a constant battle to repel abhorrent belief systems; like islam and feminism. False reporting of crimes should carry the same penalty as actually doing the crime. Bumping into someone on trains chronically filled to 4 times capacity is not a crime -- well maybe filling the train to 4 times capacity is, but that is another story.

The media has devised this victimhood wedge they can drive between the sexes. Men need to start fighting back. This insurance is a good first step. Next the government needs to remove judges that hand down rulings that are unsupportable by FACTS. Don't let your country become the travesty American courts are, where you are guilty. Period. Whether you did anything or not. Whether you were even there or not. A woman makes a psychotic claim and the more outlandish the more courts bend over backwards to miscarry justice. This is not a way to run your society. This is how you destroy it.

Posted in: 'I’m glad I’m Japanese' posters in Kyoto spark outrage among Japanese Twitter users See in context

Twitter is the premiere safe space for thin skinned sociopaths that are always after the next big offense. Grievance is the currency of twitter users. Everything about the twitter culture is the antithesis of what it is to be Japanese!

That said even I am surprised someone managed to be offended by this. Such displays are everyday occurrences in America. Of course the twits are mortally offended every day in America. So maybe it makes sense.

As for people complaining about the residents of Kyoto, I found the same advice I received when going to Paris to work just as well in Japan. It may be your vacation but it is these people's home! Your "special" day is what they call "Another Monday".

Learn to say Please, Thank You, and Excuse Me IN THEIR LANGUAGE!!! Then use your inside voice and the manners your mother should have taught you. Japan is one of (if not the) most civilized countries on the planet. The general population reacts quite negatively to savages rampaging through their home.

PS: THIS is why I believe the Olympics will turn the Japanese very negative on tourism for years to come. The Olympics, to be kind, does not attract the best and brightest humanity has to offer. The people that flood Tokyo will do great harm to the general perception of foreigners.

In the US he would not have been arrested. If there were 3 videos from 3 different angles of him doing it, he would not have been charged. THIS is why the Japanese have faith in their institutions and Americans do not.

Posted in: U.S. soccer players must stand for national anthem See in context

It must be hard for the average Japanese to understand the level of hatred for one's country and culture that these privileged brats exhibit. In many ways this is the exact opposite of everything Japanese society stands for.

This is perhaps a good metaphor for a discussion of gun control. Japanese people do not need guns because they live in a culture that from Okinawa to Hokkaido there would not be any place for such a sociopath to escape public disdain. Americans need guns because these sociopaths are pop idols in the minds of people so deluded that they cannot tell the difference between good and evil.

Posted in: Tesla starts mass production of batteries See in context

It would be nearly impossible for SpaceX to not make mountains of money. They compete with a moribund monopoly in ULA. ULA was formed by merging Boeing and Lockheed rocket programs. Because if they were to compete it could drive down prices. SpaceX has every possible advantage in this situation.

Tesla is nearly the exact opposite. They have a vision for sure. Sometimes their vision is a bit delusional. But they have a vision. Unfortunately their execution rarely delivers on that vision. That would be OK if they were SpaceX. In an industry that thinks launching half a dozen rockets a year is a blistering pace it doesn't take much to become wildly successful.

But cars are not rockets. And rather than competing with cold war relics Tesla is really just doing the market prep work for Toyota, Nisan, and eventually even GM. The day that one of these companies decides to put 2 million electric cars on the ground is the day Tesla ceases to exist. Toyota has forgotten more about mass production this week than Tesla will ever know.

Posted in: Turkey bogged down in Syria as it realigns with Russia See in context

If Russia wants Turkey they are more than welcome to have it! They are a terrorist state run by an insane dictator. They were only ever allowed in NATO because the THOR IRBM couldn't reach Moscow from West Germany.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Sooner or later the US will have to attack Turkey. Because unlike Iraq, Libya, and Syria, Turkey is actually a threat to US security.
