If the majority of Okinawans want US bases off their island, the USA can either shut down all its bases in Japan or transfer them to another island. Japan is an industrial nation. It has advanced technology, builds automobiles, electronics, appliances, watches, clocks and appliances. It still has an outdated military that's even less advanced than Developing Nations' military. Japan should become a superpower and turn the US bases there into Japanese bases.

The poor nations AKA 3rd World Nations can reduce immigration to the currently industrial nations by becoming industrial nations. The USA has hegemony over other nations in both standard of living and military strength. Mexico should become a military and economic superpower. Many Americans and immigrants to America believe what's good enough for the USA is too good for anyone else.

It's good Merkel won. The USA, UK, France and many other allies have created the need for refugees with their endless wars and meddling in the affairs of S Asian & ME nations. If the Vietnam War were still going on, there would be a greater need for SE Asian refugees than there was when the war was going on. Merkel did the right thing by staying out of Libya. Obama was acting like Bush although he was elected to be different from him. Merkel is also good about saying no war against Iran should ever be started. The only areas where I disagree with her are giving aid to Saudi Arabia and Israel.

Someone on this site says Iran doesn't allow women to drive. Yes, it does. Saudi Arabia is the only nation in the world that doesn't allow women to drive. Iran now has more women than men in its universities. The person responding should get his or her facts right before posting a comment.

Trump is crazier than Kim Jong Un. NK is a lot less powerful than the USA . Since it has nuclear weapons, it can stop its enemies from bombing them. If Iraq kept its WMD's, no future wars against it would occur. If Syria had WMD's, the war occurring there would not be happening. If Libya had WMD's, Obama would not have been able to start a war there. If Lebanon had WMD's, Israel would never have been able to invade it. If Yemen had WMD's, Saudi Arabia would not have been able to invade it. The USA is the only nation in the world that ever used nuclear weapons against another nation. It also used chemical weapons in SE Asia during the Vietnam War.
