Was it basil, oregano or rosemary this time!!!

Would you be making a joke about it if one personally seriously injured was related to you?

@ReformedBasher

He sent his underling to pick it up, he himself didnt go, and then just denied the whole thing to the cops. Did you even read the article?

Ore is not used by children of middle class and up. Boku. Watakushi, watashi to talk to elders, friends and families and workers in offices. chimpiras who work in lowest level construction might use ore but ore is not by a majority of Japanese men. Lady must got suspicious. , I wonder these ore ore people used Kobe accent in Tokyo

Oh please, Principals, Vice principals, bosses, managers, supervisors, anyone in power at their work place uses 'Ore'. Half of the boys at JHS and HS use 'Ore'. It has nothing to do with Chimperas. Most men who play sports also use it among their peers.

However, using at home within the family is a different story, and every family is different. Some boys are nice to their grandparents, some are not.

I am sure the little dude will change his story once 'pressured' by his boss....so unfortunately, just cant see this sticking at all....

It's a room he rented, but that's not the same thing as having a fixed residence. He could have been there for only a few days, not necessarily somewhere long-term that he had registered with the city or anything.

Now this is the information I want to read when I read news. Why is it that I get more information from peoples comments here than from the article itself?

Posted in: Forlan to play in J-League for record Y600 mil a year See in context

These signings of over-the-hill big name players by leagues such as the A-league, MLS and J-league are more hit and miss than Forlan's shooting when he was at United.

While that is certainly true for some, it cant be said for all. Alessandro Del Piero has done wonders for the game in the A-league at his ripe old age, AND he still is playing very good football. Same with Shinji Ono. At 34, Forlan still has a lot to offer.

50 purloined pairs when his room was searched,

Ok, so he has a room, but

Sato, who is jobless and has no fixed residence,

So he has a room with no residence? o.O

Ok, so if there is truth in what you say, why join Al Qaeda? What is their mission? To spread love, joy and harmony across the world? The same goes for the Taliban and all of these radical affiliates. Show me a video, document or anything where these groups want a peaceful co-existence. Please, I'm waiting.

Oh, dont get me wrong, I believe there are some that are hellbent on destroying the US. No doubt about that. But what is the reason behind that?

The point I was trying to make is that the Govt has twisted a lot of peoples views about arab people, and its a shame. Same with their view on Sharia etc.

Show me a video, document or anything where these groups want a peaceful co-existence

There will never be a peaceful co-existence anymore, not since the drone attacks, not since 9/11, not since before that.

Unfortunately 1 side will eventually wipe out the other side.

Only idiot fools under estimate terrorists!!

I agree, but a bigger fool is the one who created them in the first place.

they wouldn't kill us if they had the chance? Of course they would.

Lol, you actually believe that? You honestly think all 'terrorists' would kill all 'westerners'?

Wow, the fear spreading done by your government has worked like a charm. All that propaganda to justify wars, you just gulped it up and swallowed asking for more.

Drone attacks on anyone is pure murder. And your country, the US, is not held accountable, even if they slaughter your family while you are travelling overseas, no one would be brought to justice.

AT GW and Strangerland

Very true. After about 4-5 years of marriage I started getting the pressure to find a seishain job with a higher salary. Before that there was no such talk.

That is why I have prioritized becoming a seishain before making it serious with a J-girl now. Sure some girls say they are not like that (this one actually has lived in Aus for about 6 months and therefore has a different way of thinking to most J-girls) but I still dont trust any of them and it is better for my peace of mind if I just do it first.

My last girl ended our relationship because I wasnt a "Seishaiin".....even though I was in the process of changing jobs to become a Seishaiin, it wasnt quick enough for her :/

Glad I found a girl who prioritizes love and affection over job status

Pigs. Worse than pigs. Rape is one of those crimes where a prison sentence doesnt do justice. Have everyone one of those sick bastards who did the deed get their "weapon" chopped off and you will see the amount of rapes start to decline.

I pray that poor woman can somehow put this terrible event behind her, but I doubt it......

Posted in: Police fire at fleeing driver after he rams patrol car See in context

adamorJAN. 15, 2014 - 03:27AM JST Stimulants does not necessary mean drugs.

From Wikipedia:

A drug is a substance which may have medicinal, intoxicating, performance enhancing or other effects when taken or put into a human body or the body of another animal and is not considered a food or exclusively a food.

If it's a stimulant, it's designed to change the chemical state of the body from its normal state to a stimulated state. That makes it a "drug" no matter WHAT the actual stimulant was. Caffeine is a drug and the active ingredient in coffee.

Why are you researching the word drug when you should be researching the word stimulants?

Posted in: Police fire at fleeing driver after he rams patrol car See in context

"Stimulants does not necessary (sic) mean drugs."

"Was the fleeing driver high on caffeine?"

LOL@such narrow thinking..... There are A LOT of legal stimulants out there, prescribed meds etc.... But I know it might be too difficult for your tiny brain to comprehend that, all cool

Stimulants does not necessary mean drugs. How did they catch them? There is a big hole in the story. Guy tries to flee, cops fire, guy is shot, girl tells the story. So what happened in between him getting shot (where did he get shot?) and the girl telling the story?

Dont know why people are giving thumbs down to smithinjapan and Mirai Hayashi. We've seen it time and time again. Of course I feel for the family, but there is anger in stories like this where the death was totally avoidable. At 88 years old, he or his family and friends should have known better.

RIP
