not sure if it would work, but why not just tail the whalers and emit some annoying sound that would turn the whales away from the location? Surely there has to be some kind of sonar emitting machine that isnt too expensive, well less than what they spend on repairs.
Would be such a peaceful way to disturb their hunt and no1 would get injured

Where does Japan get all their money from? Millions of dollars going out to other countries, billions spent on the Fukushima problem, and now even more money on military?

Will be watching Crows Explode. Absolutely love all of Hiroshi Takahashis comics. Been reading them for about 6 years now. Worst, the name of one of his comics, is based on one of the schools I taught at in Fukushima, and one of the characters is based on one of my japanese friends, who is close friends to him. Great story line, not just fighting, and good humour. Books > movie

The fact that more and more cases are coming to light, as in, being reported and responded to, is a HUGE FIRST step. Good on ya Japan, I hope you only move forward from here on in trying to eradicate this problem that is not only confined to Japan, but to every part of the world.

I honestly believe violence from overseas (not just the States) has heavily influenced Japan. If there was no violence overseas, there wouldnt be much here. Why? Because Japan is country full of lemmings. Hardly any innovation or creativity anymore, which is really sad. Ive noticed in my English lessons at JHS, when I do creative work with them, they cant think for themselves, they have to copy someone.

This is a very serious crime, and it really p1sses me off knowing the J Govt isn't acting on it. Abe should be taking this one by the horns to show to the public that he does not only care about the power plant, but also about the people, his people, who are trying to save the situation from becoming worse.

Please, FIFA rankings mean shiet. Anyone actually watching the games will know that Japan are favorites to win this group. Colombia will be tough since it will be played in South America. Ivory Coast as well will be a decent game. Greece will be the easiest of the three.
But this is Japans BEST chance of getting through to the 2nd round, that is undeniable. It wont be easy, but their job has been made a lot less difficult by avoiding the power houses and tournament kings of Brazil, Germany, Spain, Italy and Netherlands.

Yurkekuru and Namazu are both behind the EEW standard in any case and therefore, useless.
Umm, how are they useless? 5 seconds before an earthquake hits, it sounds. It helped me ALOT while I was living in Fukushima during the 3:11 I got woken up numerous times and it enabled me to leave my home just as a massive aftershock hit
and you say its useless? lol

Enough is enough. I am sick of the media and netizens trying to inflame this situation, to make it worse, all for what?
I am sick of the media posting this as news, as it only aids to incite the haters and make the situation worse. Yesterdays article about the Chinese netizens wanting to shoot down Japanese planes was ludicrous.
Media from both sides is just making this situation worse and it wont get any better until one side just ignores the stupid rambles of idiots from both countries.
Why is peace so hard?

Sigh, everyone changing the topic back to radiation etc,
How about just congratulating the old dude for doing something decent. He isnt promoting the rice or trying to advertise it as safe (unlike what the govt is probably doing as a result of this but), instead he is trying to support some people who are in dire need of it.
Hats off to you sir
