To "reduce reliance"? only takes one accident at one plant to radiate a whole country. The citizens of Japan must keep the radiation plants closed.

Posted in: Noda says Oi reactors must be restarted to protect economy, people's livelihoods See in context

They're saying reactors must be restarted in order to ((( protect the economy ))).

But in fact, its the nuclear power plants that are ((( ruining the economy ))).

Meltdowns ((( which can not be avoided ))) and ((( can't be stopped, once they start ))) ruin the land, sea, air, animals, and children. And their parents. And friends.

Elected officials should do what the citizens want, which is "no more" radiation plants. Almost everyone would be at the protests if they weren't at work, and/or far away.

Posted in: Japan declined U.S. offer to station nuclear experts in Kan's office: Edano See in context

Unfortunately, so-called "nuclear experts" can't do much when it comes to a nuclear accident, as proven by the mess left from previous accidents. And the dangers remain for thousands of years. What a waste.
