I can understand FB'S stance on staying clear of sensorship. But posting beheadings videos and clips to raise awareness of realities around the world shouldn't be allowed. I've seen this happen in my country a few times. I've lost a friend/team-member to something like this. It's a scene that nobody should be able to see. There can be nothing gained from watching a video of a beheading other than to cure a curiosity. The person being murdered on film had a life, had a family...he/she shouldn't be commercialized to gain anything regardless if the video is shown to condemn the killing, cure a curiosity or celebrate.

This guy's website says that their bullying investigation is "Free (with conditions)", but I'm sure they charge for some of it.
I found all this horrendous evidence for you for free. Now, if you would like to see it, bust out the wallet.

Titanium, thanks for the links! Well, she just earned another fan. Enjoyable!

If you like him, or you hate him,you got to appreciate his 32 continuous years MCing the show. Much respect!
I hope he slows down a little and enjoys some much deserved life.

But yes, it is good to hear some good news! And from a different source other than TEPCO. It would be something if someone could just wave a magic wand and turn everything back to normal.
I wish them luck as well! Hope to see somemore good news on the matter too...kind of breaks that usual monotony of the bad coming out of that area on am almost daily basis.

not wanting to be rude to my uncle, back in California who actually is named just like this typhoon, FRANCISCO

ReformedBasher, I don't think good things are being ignored by the posters. For me, I can't see the correlation of what the IAEA is stating about progress and the many repeated stupid mistakes that TEPCO has been doing. As farmlland may be progressing, the ocean around Fukushima is getting more contaminated. Progress here, no prgress there.

No, you said NOBODY uses names like these for typhoons hitting Japan. The article states that he JMA used the name. Not denying what you say in general, I was pointing to the fact that SOMEBODY does use the names of typhoons in Japan.

Just look at NHK etc..NOBODY in Japan uses names like these for typhoons hitting Japan
Typhoon Francisco, which forecasters say is “very strong”, was approaching Japan, moving north-northwest at the speed of 10 kilometers per hour in an area east of the Philippines, the said
I guess the Japan Meteorological Agency are just nobodies.

If those against him want to outlaw cars, just say so. Just don't hold this guy accountable for the laws of physics.
Police arrested the driver,
LoL! Like I said, backseat drivers. "Arrested" is the word of the day here.
2 ( +2 / -0 )
Frungy, blah blah blah. Like I said, I don't know about you backseat drivers, but how fast are you going on this small road that children are walking on to talk about getting rearended or projected. On a road like that before or right after school hours, he should have been going at a speed where he could stop on a dime. If you can't fathom that then might as well turn in that license before you hurt someone.

This Yasukuni thing is getting just as bad as the stupid island issues and the "X" number of Chinese ships enter Japans waters stories. How long are all countries involved going to act like babies. My daddy can beat up your daddy syndrome.

change their focal point and blink like crazy to fix their vision, and run for a few seconds on their memory of the road conditions ahead, hoping they haven't changed.
Hoping?! You would drive on MEMORY and HOPING conditions of the road ahead haven't changed? Wow...unbelievably speachless.

Disillusioned, well said!
You obviously don't drive because you can't just instantly stop a car
Kariharuka, obviously you don't know how to drive. There's a big difference between getting the sun in your eyes and can't see anything in front ofyou because of the sun, in which the driver stated. If he was driving on that road while school children were walking and couldn't stop because some forseen circumstance, then he was driving too fast. If he was driving at a slow speed and the sun BLINDED him he should have stopped and moved his head around until he made sure there was no obstacles in his path. If he still couldn't stop in time, he was driving too fast for conditions.
he was obeying the rules of PHYSICS. Its a little something called "inertia". Objects in motion require time to slow down
Oh geez, It's frungy again. Inertia huh? So if you're driving on a small road with children and you don't take in considering the amount of forward inertia your vehicle is exerting, than it's alright to sideswipe a group of children? I don't know about you backseat drivers, but if I'm traveling on a small road with children and I lose site of one, I'm stopping. If I get rearended, than guess what? Did you guess correctly? The driver behind me was driving too fast for conditions.

Like I said in another TEPCO thread, I was waiting for an article like this.
Lets see what stupid news comes out of the next typhoon/storm.
2 ( +3 / -1 )
Typhoon Francisco, which forecasters say ...... the Japan Meteorological Agency said Monday morning.
Elbuda, are you sure?
-4 ( +0 / -4 )
you can't just instantly stop a car. Maybe he did apply the brakes but the car is still going to move forward as it is slowing down while he is temporarily blinded.
Stewart, than he would have been going to fast for conditions.

quoted as saying that the sun got in his eyes for a second and he couldn’t see what was in front of him
Then stop! These excuses are always weak. How are you going to keep rolling a large piece of machinery when you lose your main sense even for a second. As he learned the hard way, anything can happen in a split second. I'm glad he didn't kill any of the children.

Did they call in the rice squad?
Yes, The "porice".
10 ( +14 / -4 )
However, one commenter summed it up best saying, “I really feel like some rice now.”
How is this summing it up the best?
Also, did they at least let him finish cooking his rice?

I saw a special on TV about her art now. She was freehanding an large abstract piece and kept going over the lines to change the color. It was amazing watching her draw the piece but why she kept changing the colors was odd.
