I agree that If a political party receives a significant number of votes in a fair and free election in a democracy, then that must be accepted by all, and if the party wins the right to representation in parliament, that right must be granted. Sorry, folks, that's called "democracy," even if you don't like it.
Problem is, the "first past the post" system is not how democracy works in most of Europe (except for the UK).
A party receiving 28% of the vote may be the "most popular" - yet despised by 70% of the voters.
Seeing as the US is now openly criticising the domestic politics of Europe, European leaders should start attacking the US on domestic issues such as lack of gun controls, huge murder rate compared to Europe, attacks on women's rights ie abortion bans, the shocking lack of universal healthcare, and many more.

What the hell, with that income of about $64,000 in 30 days many Night club and snack bar ladies will be tempted to go for it.
Not really a new thing, but perhaps will become bigger now with the weaker Japanese yen.
Japanese women, and I'm sure women of many nationalities, have been working such short-term jobs on tourist visas in wealthy countries for years. Very few of them get caught. Women "tourists" from places like Thailand, China etc would be scrutinised by immigration way more than Japanese upon entry. Easier for Japanese to engage in this stuff on tourist visas.

The US is losing any tiny shred of democracy it had left, day by day.
The photo says it all. An unelected South African billionaire, who is effectively the President's right hand man, lurking in the oval office - unanswerable to the public and most likely undismissable after the hundreds of millions of dollars he has paid for the privilege.
Sad to see the rapid decline. China is the biggest beneficiary and would be loving this.

Why did you “discard” the decades long use of the term “global warming”?
hint: it’s wasn’t warm, globally,
The past ten years 2015-2024 are the ten warmest years on record
Hint : Global. Warming. Is. Fact.
Only the very stupid would even try and dispute that fact.

Trump is the worst advertisement for Christianity that has ever existed.
Rapist, endless divorces, sordid affairs, complete lack of humility, chronic liar.
Even Christian Ministers call him out in church services.

Like every other US foray into the middle east - Iraq and Afghanistan being among the biggest catastrophes - this is going to end very, very badly for Americans.
And much of the world will believe Americans all deserve every negative that comes their way.

I have a better idea.
Why don't the Israelis all move to the US where they can have "beautiful houses with sunshine" built for them?
Israel is just too dangerous for them to stay in. It's "all death" in Israel, and has been for many years. They'll be much, much happier in a beautiful place in the US.

Japan handled it fine unlike the West etc .
"The West" is not monolithic. Many Western nations handled the pandemic as well as possible, like Japan did, with people generally showing common sense and getting vaccinated. The death rates were accordingly lower than other places.
And then there was the US.

Like others are saying, just don't answer the door if you don't recognise the face through the peep-hole.
There's no way I'd pay for the complete garbage NHK produce. In fact I'd willingly have it blocked from every device in my apartment if that were possible.

We will be fine.
Of course "you'll be fine". You don't live in America.

I hope the tariffs cause pain and struggle for the average American. Particularly all those who voted for Trump.
They are reaping what they've sown. Fully deserved.

Good on Canada.
Here's hoping the average American will be negatively affected by these petty tariffs and that fuel cost increases will hurt them. That would be heart-warming to see.
The best thing Canadians can do is seek out and buy as much local produce and goods as possible. Best to avoid the rubbish foods produced south of their border.

It's not a relocation, it's a return to their and their ancestor's homeland.
So, you are suggesting the great majority of the Jews in Israel also return to their ancestors' homelands- Russia, Poland, Hungary, Germany etc? It works both ways.

Not being funny, but has anyone else seen this guy?
Paying big sums of money, or taking her by force are the only ways he could realistically get female company.
