Bashing the CCP is not the equivalent of bashing the Chinese people
Sadly, the bashers don't distinguish between the two, and imagine how Chinese people reading this site feel. It's certainly not going to improve China-Japan relations. Some of the views towards China on here border on fascist. That is absolutely disgusting.

They are the ones illegally occupying nations; crushing freedom demonstrations; committing ethnic genocide; threatening peaceful neighbors with annihilation
Wow, that sounds like how Japan once behaved and probably still would if they weren't stopped.
The problem with putting a halt to the Chinese government's behaviour is that freedom loving people, as you call them, don't want another war.
The way you often talk, mentioning missiles and military strategy straight out of Call of Duty, is exactly what freedom loving people don't want.
Dialogue with China is how Japan and America should proceed, not huddling in the white House gossiping and achieving nothing. Neither have the guts to confront China, and besides Taiwan, Japan doesn't really have any friends in Asia does it?

No one likes you, wants to deal with you, all or cares what you think
You aren't completely correct in saying this. I'm no fan of the Chinese government, but they aren't really 'Commies' are they, let's he honest.
I can separate people from government, like visiting China and generally like the people there.
I often have posts removed for 'bashing Japan', and that's fair enough, I suppose.
But the repetitive negative attacks on China on this site are dreadful. It makes you as bad as the government you attack, really.

Why Japan is number 1? I suppose it's something to celebrate...

"Freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law are the universal values that link our alliance," Suga said
I think both countries need to polish up on these areas.
Japan-hunan rights? Haha.

These mascots are also abysmal. Is there a single positive aspect of these Olympics?

I wonder if Zhao Lijian would drink a glass of water taken from the lower reaches of any Chinese river just before it meets the sea?
But that's irrelevant. The Chinese chap hasn't made ridiculous claims about the quality of any water type.

The water is not perfectly safe. More nonsense spouted

It doesn't matter what Korean parents tell their kids really. Japan behaved appallingly towards Korea and still does.

When will they wake up and realize that it's time for them to move on???
When Japan stops treating them like crap?

Japan is in the wrong. Korea is correct. I don't see how Japan can be defended.

But Zhao didn't claim that Yangtze water was safe to drink.
Well said! It's funny to see people attacking China when this is 100% Japan's problem/fsult

This is absolutely fantastic. Well done China, and hilarious responses by the anti China brigade.
I'm sorry, this time, China is correct.

If Japan is allowed an Olympics, China should be, too.
Both are extremely backwards though

Congratulations. Thank you," a presenter said as two golf commentators next to him struggled to hold back tears.
Surely this isn't real.

I hope Osaka calls out arrogant, vastly overrated Tokyo as the liars they are, regarding testing and reporting false figures.

If there was a consideration event at the 2021 Olympics, Japan would be a shoe in for gold.
