I think this article misses to explain why the women are happy... That most marriages aren't romantic, and how salarymen typically have mistresses and use the sex industry a lot. I really don't think the new generation has this problem though now. Most people I know getting married are very much in love and their men behave because now things like hostess bars soaplands and what not look really desperate. I think their pink industry is reporting loss now...? That's great news for society if you ask me.

So what would be a good news channel in Japan if NHK is like Fox??? (sorry, my husband isn't a big political party or news follower, and I'm a pretty hard lefter...so to know I've been getting my info from a Fox like news source is unsettling) Thank you.

What does it mean to be "right-winged" in Japan??? When I think of the Right, I think of the Tea Party here, is it the same?

And a hushed silence came from those of us who have married Japanese men...I think a western woman marrying japanese is WAY more extreme then these men complaining about their zombie sex lives. How about dealing with company sponsored hostess outings and the like... ??? Or the fact the sex industry is literally in every corner??? THAT is marriage issues.
Btw I'm very happily married...it just took a while to lay down the ground rules.
