but this will save the economies of the two countries

Oh yes, as soon as 50 million Koreans start buying Japanese goods again, Japan's economy will be saved. Yes I am being sarcastic

This person is clearly talking about all the dead allied soldiers that beat back the facists that ruled Japan and brought democracy to Japan.

If that's the case, why do most Asian countries do not enjoy Japan's success, if not better?

CLEARLY far too many Japanese STILL HAVE NO CLUE about WWIII!!!

Probably they haven't got over the irony that their vanquished nation enjoys far better institutions and freedoms than the victorious Asians.

1) Uniqlo sales down 70%. Korea was the 3rd largest market for Uniqlo.

Don't stores in Korea hire local workers, what will happen to them?

Look on the bright side. Japan's imperial designs failed and as a result we enjoy the benevolence of China

I don't know should we consider the European colonial powers who slaughtered millions of innocent people while stealing their land and natural resources terrorists and mass murders ?

One thing's for sure, they didn't surrender to the natives and put on trial for their crimes.

If Japan didn't start and lose WW2, its people wouldn't be enjoying the fruits of US occupation today so let that sink in.

Wrong. PRC is a BIG military threat, to Japan,

Really? Let's look at their track record in relations. Number of japanese ports opened by force: 0, number of atomic bombs dropped on Japan: 0...

no Japanese speaking or writing CEO of Nissan

Really? Funny, if I lacked Japanese language skills, the only job I'd get here would be teaching English.

Am I thinking too much if I suspected there is something wrong with the welfare system or the lack there of when people want to go to jail?

How do we know this carrier won't end up supporting some US led military expedition far from the Pacific that has scant support of the Japanese public?

He also wanted to create an economic version of the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere" which Japan used during WWII to turn the "east" against the "white devils" of the west!

I take it, you are not a fan of the EU

Btw what's the point of repealing article 9 when Japan has already got some of the best warsips, combat aircraft and battle tanks? If anything, following the provision to the letter should mean Japan ought to capitulate to invaders, which is not a bad thing, afterall, France is still a respectable world power innit?

China has not attempted to project its power as the US has done for many years.

You said it, China has never opened our ports by force, nuked us. If that is not a decent start to peaceful foreign relations, I don't know what is.
