A very simple answer- STRIKE! The local sheeple have not had a strike since the 60’s and their reward has been stagnant wages and being screwed by the management since the bubble burst. If they don’t work for change then the LDP, government and the Moonies will give the people a proper dose of prison love they so deserve.

Along with the tour operator the Japanese Coast Guard needs to help liable for not having enough boats/helicopters in the area to help rescue to passengers. Given the tourism in the area, number of fisherman and rough seas conditions for the area I find it hard to believe they had no ships and 1 helicopter. Great idea- instead of wasting more yen on Olympics in Sapporo why not invest in more coast guard equipment to save life’s not enriching politicians and IOC.

The woman should get locked away for a long time but will probably say she is sorry and get a short suspend sentence and back working part-time karaoke parlor.

Please stop the madness! With the current Japan/Tokyo Stadium debacle Japan wants to add to the tax payer burden with more Olympic loss making venues. STOP
