It's a great pity they have taken out the regular night trains like the Akebono which made affordable travel much easier, particularly for those who struggle with night buses.

I'm interested to see stats on aggression on the new Yamanote line. The video advertising is sensory overstimulation. I find it much more stressful commute than on the old Yamanote trains. Would not be surprised at all if it leads to more aggressive behaviour.

Anyone denying the existence of comfort women through the war would be well advised to read David McNeill's article which has a must watch video of an interview with a Japanese war veteran.

Prof Hayashi from Todai makes it clear that it's Abe who had brought it to the international stage, not Asahi.
