It's actually 80% and not 60%

The Kyodo's poll was deceptive as it didn't include the postponement possibility :

Gilead's Remdesivir is a poisonous inefficient "medicine". What a shame....

Not only it doesn't help to cure anything but it has disastrous side effects.... But governments are do desperate they they would take anything to say "we're doing something"....

Very sad for people who'll receive Remdesivir

This decision is "criminal". As it's written in the article: "The difference in mortality rate was not statistically significant". But we know for a fact that Remdesivir has terrible side effects such as permanent kidney damages and many others. Studies consider these damages from 25% to 60% of people who receive the treatment. Remdesivir is an antiviral and as few people knows it , the Covid 19 disappear from your body after the first stage of your infection : people don't die of the virus itself and usually virus isn't anymore in your system when you are in a severe stage (you get in a severe stage because your antibodies reaction to the virus becomes so strong, then you have pulmonary infection etc etc). So, as Remdesivir is given to people in advance stage, IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT (as the virus is not effective anymore at this stage) as it's designed as an antiviral only! Japanese government and US government approved Remdesivir as they want people to believe that they're doing something to stop the disaster, but it has NO EFFECT as studies shows it.

The current only way to stop the virus and people dying is to give hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin (an antibiotic) at the beginning of the treatment which will reduce the viral charge from the very beginning (when people show first symptoms). It's "criminal" to say to people "go back home and only contact us if it get worse, because THEN IT'S TOO LATE. Every people who shows symptoms and who get tested should be given immediately hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin. And people in advance stage (if they weren't given Remdesivir at the beginning) should be give antibiotics and even hydroxychloroquine to fight the infection they're suffering from and this poisonous Remdesivir.

Remdesivir is a DISASTER. Did you read : it creates deterioration of kidney function, in a quarter of people treated. We're not talking about 1% but about 25% of people. The study of The New England Journal of Medicine recently published was made on ONLY 53 PEOPLE. How can you even call it a "study". Before any drug could be put on the market, it should be tested on thousands of people, not on 53 people. It's a gigantic joke (but unfortunately it's not funny as it will lead to people's death and permanent health damages). This study in the New England Journal of Medicine is just the result of the U.S. biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences Inc. lobbying. Let's remind everyone that Remdesivir was a total failure for Ebola. And to add that this drug (with completely unproven results except on ONLY 53 people selected by Gilead) is pretty expensive compare to other treatments currently tested. It's terrible that Japan who didn't do anything to prevent the spread of virus for weeks (trying to keep the Olympics) is now ready to pretend to act for Japanese people's health facing Covid 19 by approving so quickly this Remdesivir. The currently only way to cure efficiently the Covid 19 is to treat it from the first symptoms showing up. With just hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin IF PUT TOGETHER AND AT THE BEGINNING OF THE INFECTION, we reach only 0,5% death on studies of a thousand people. This treatment is very cheap and effective. Don't let "big pharma" brainwash people and share this widely.

Yes, why the plug for this school? Yesterday I was told that Soka University does it too and before that several other universities did it too the past 10 days....

For those who don't know it, Gilead is a representative of "big pharma". The medicine they tried to develop few years ago for Ebola was completely ineffective and they are currently doing some incredible lobbying with "fake" studies (it's not fake, but it's on so few people such as the "study" on 53 people reported in the New England Journal of Medicine, that we can't call it a "study"). We know for a fact that Remdesivir is currently not effective and the latest comparative study between Remdesivir and other treatment was completely biased. Currently the only effective way to treat the Covid 19 is to take hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin when the first symptoms of the disease shows up. Yesterday the professor Didier Raoult, leading French specialist who treated of 3000 patients of Covid 19 with only 0,3% of death in a famous south France hospital, gave a 1 hour prime time explanation of all this (including the Gilead's Remdesivir) on a French major TV channel. Find yourself a French to English translator and you'll fall from your chair when you'll listen to what he says:

This is the first time in 10 yeas that I'm posting a message on this page, but I can't let people die due to ignorance and pharmaceutical lobbyists. Remdesivir is a DISASTER. and I forgot @nalhagen : if you're a Docomo customer taking an iPhone 4, you'll pay 480 yens X 24 months = 11 520 yen If you're a loyal Softbank iPhone 3gs customer (took it on the launch day on June 26th 2009) you'll pay 3180 yens X 12 months = 38160 yens + 1180 yens X 24 months (=28 320 yens) for your iPhone 4. It means not only you'll pay the remanning of the 3gs without Softbank discount (while you're still Softbank and iPhone customer) BUT THAT YOU'LL PAY YOUR IPHONE 4 MORE (28 320 yens instead of 11 500 yens for a "new" customer). So my friend, YOU need a reality check ! WAKEEEEE UPPPPPPPP !

@nalhagen : one basic of marketing is : you reward loyal customers and not make them pay 5 times the price of new customers (if a Docomo user take an iPhone 4 today, he'll pay 480 yens X 24 months = 11 520 yens !!!). In the US or Europe, upgrade from 3Gs to iPhone 4 is so cheap ! SOFTBANK IS A FRAUD ! Because if a 3Gs customer get an iPhone 4, he'll still be a Softbank customer and still be an iPhone customer ! So YES, the 1920 yen discount of the 3Gs should still be paid by Softbank for the last 12 months and the customer should pay the remaining 1260 yen X 12 months of his 3Gs, BUT NOT 3180 yens X 12 months ! If you're a frequent flyer on any airline, you get millages and free tickets or free business upgrade ! You don't get to pay your ticket plane 5 times more than the guy who'll fly for the first time with this airline ! Wake up man : this is a huge FRAUD, made by a company who can afford huge advertising campaign to make you think it's normal ! WAKE UP !

If you were one of the first iPhone 3Gs customer on June 26th 2009 and that you want to get the iphone 4, it will cost you... more than the iPhone 4 without subscription : 3180 yens X 12 (residue for the iPhone 3Gs, because your 1920 monthly discount is stopped !) =38 160 yens + 2400 X 24 months for iPhone 4 - discount of 1220 yen par month = 28 320 Total = 66 580 yens WITH A 2 YEARS CONTRACT for the iPhone 4, which means, if you want "Iphone 5" in 1 year, you'll have to pay the 12 months residue of iPhone 4 = 2400 X12 = 28 800. You know that the official price is less than 58 000 yens for the 32 Go model ! And I would have to pay 66 580 yens to switch from 3Gs to 4 ? You know what, it's a shame that consumer association have so few power in Japan.... People, let's jailbreak your iPhones and and do tethering with your laptop and iPad! Mr Masayoshi Son, shame on you ! I'm also president of a company in Japan, and I tell you this : it's a shame to behave like this toward your customers.
