We Uchinanchu (Okinawan) are different from Naichas (Mainlanders). First of all Okinawa was never a part of Japan. It was the Kingdom of Ryukyu. I will never forgive Japanese for choosing Okinawa as a battle field, at that time no one was evacuated or had no idea what was going on. I will never forgive Japanese army, who used my ancestors for their feeling of satisfaction and telling them to sacrifice the life for the Japanese emperor.
